“Taste chief's specialities!”

We had an excellent diner in this little place near the Trevi's fountain. We were a little bit scared to eat in a so touristic district, but we saw the trip advisor's certificate on the door and we were not disappointed. My lover tasted a classic quattro fromaggi and me, specialities ravioli (veggie). Simply excellent! I tasted the red table wine, and it was the best wine from my journey. And what can we say about the millefoglio?... Just great. Everybody is nice, take time to listen to your order (even when you try in Italian!), answer in a few word in a simple italian and even in french! It was admittedly our most expensive dinner (about 50 euros for two people), but obviously the best in town.

“Great restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2014

we went to the restaurant our last day in Rome. We saw it before and we said that it looks very nice. As we did not make any reservations we thought it will be full, but we still got a table for 2 in the back room. For us it was OK even though it is directly next to the kitchen. The advantage was not to sit in the crowd as all the others. The service was excellent, very kindly and professional. The boss from the kitchen was very funny and the older man managing the seating was very gentle and nice. We ordered pasta al pesto and pasta carbonara. For us it was the best pasta we have eaten! It was perfect! Additionally we tasted the Rossini and loved it! Mixed with strawberry juice, awesome! Only the younger man taking care of the bill was not so gentle. But nevertheless it was a great last dinner in Rome and we absolutely can recommend it! Best regards

“Fall in love at "That's Amore" in Rome, Italy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2014

My daughter and I took a private Italian cooking class at That's Amore Restaurant. We were greeted by Fernando, the chef. His smile was a engaging as his teaching was elegant and the food - superb. We washed our hands, we're given red aprons and the lesson begun. We prepared both egg and semolina style pastas according to Fernando's instructions and given a choice of ingredients we wanted in the dishes. Tomatoes, capers, olives, extra virgin olive, cheese of our choice, etc. When the pasta was complete, we sat at our reserved table and had nice glass of wine as the three types of pasta we made with Fernando was prepared.. We were truly in Heaven as we ate and drank to our fill. The staff and food at That's Amore is impeccable. Taste true Italian cuisine and love at That's Amore, you will not be disappointed. : )
