We spent 4 great nights at Pangea. The owner, Cristiano, is a very warm and helpful person with some great inside tips that will help you explore Rome. We got the America room, which has a balcony, so we enjoyed the privilege of eating breakfast on the balcony every morning.

Although Pangea is not in the city center, it is only 5min walk to the Cornelia metro station, so the connection to all major sights and city centre is excellent. It is situated in a quite neighbourhood, with some restaurants (go visit Franky's just down the street!) and basic shops/groceries nearby.

So if you're looking for a rather basic, but very clean place, situated in a quiet neighbourhoud and all that for a very reasonable price, Pangea is the place for you.

Me and my girlfriend went travelling and Rome was our last stop, we spent 3 days there and throughout our whole travelling experience, making the decision to stay at Pangea Guesthouse was one of the best choices we made. The only slight problem we had was finding the block of apartments, but once you find it, it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the metro and you can get straight into the centre of Rome and visit the main attractions within 20 minutes on the metro. The staff were very friendly and the room (we stayed in the Europe room) was very clean and decorated perfectly. The breakfast was also very nice and fresh. The only thing we didn't enjoy as much, was the pizzeria recommended around the corner from the guesthouse. Cristiano was also incredibly helpful and made sure a taxi was ready to pick us up nice and early for our flight back.

We stayed at Pangea at the end of our whirlwind Italy trip for 4 nights. It was perfect! Christiano is a wonderful host! He helped us with directions and navigating our way through Rome. It is helpful to know that you are staying in residential apartments as you know what to look for. The room was perfect and ours had a small balcony to sit out in the evenings. Pangea is located a quick walk from the metro and close to bus stops as well. Being farther out, there are some fabulous restaurants also within walking distance that aren't tourist priced, even better!! We had a fabulous time! Thank you Christiano!

We stayed 4 nights at the Pangea and enjoyed it very much. It's located only a 5 minute walk from the subway station Cornelia and surrounded by some restaurants, a supermarket and bars. We had no complaines about the room and the bathroom. Cristiano, who is the "manager" of this little B&B serves the breakfast in the morning and helps you out with great insider infos. If you plan a sightseeing trip to Rome you should definetly choose the Pangea, but be sure to check the location in google maps, because it's a little hard to find.

Room Tip: If you like to have a balcony you yould book the Amercian room.

We stayed at Pangea B&B for 4 nights April 4--8, 2013.
Pangea a small personal hotel - just four rooms - situated near the metro station Cornelia.
The hotel is run by Christiano, a very nice and helpful man, who did everything to make us feel at home. The room was comfortable and clean and the price was very good. Should you say anything negative, it would be that it was a little difficult to find the hotel as there is no big sign on the house wall, just the name Pangea at the door bell. The surroundings of the hotel are geniun, nice and with few tourists. We can really recommend this hotel. (Inger & Leif, Uppsala, Sweden)

Me and my girlfriend recently spent a very pleasant 3 nights at the Pangea. Finding the hotel was fairly hard as there is no obvious sign from the street and it's just in a block of flats. Look for number 35 then on the telecom box you'll see Pangea. When we eventually got there we met Christiano. He is the owner of the apartments and was nothing but extremely welcoming, friendly and also very helpful when ever we needed him. We stayed in the 'Asia' room. It was the perfect place to come back to and relax. Very clean, comfy bed, great bathroom and shower and an amazing view. Breakfast was at a cafe just a stones throw away from the apartments. You help yourself to any pastry you like and then a drink. We had orange juice which was freshly squeezed in front of us. After breakfast we took a short walk to one of the two metro stations which are both within ten minutes (max) and take you all over Rome (get the 3 day pass for €16.50). If you go to Rome book a tour, it's well worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Rome, such a beautiful city and many places to see and places to eat amazing food. Christiano and the Pangea made the stay even better I strongly recommend it!!!

Room Tip: Ask for the Asia room. Comes with balcony with great view.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was in a quite residential area outskirts of rome, but not fat away from metro (10 mins walk), takes about 20 mins to reach termini station , break fast was reasonably good ,

The rooms are very neat , tidy and spacious , only problem could be a noisy neighbors in adjacent rooms , you could hear some coughs in the middle of the night , but that was no complaint at all.
