Unfortunately while we were their the Barberini fountain was undergoing maintenance, but realistically there was nothing our hosts could do about that. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was ensuite, large, air conditioned and wonderfully furnished. It is situated in a perfect part of Rome as all the attractions are within 10mins walking distance (we used taxis if we didnt know where we were going and whenever we reached our destination it turns out we could have walked) and there are several nice resteraunts surrounding the B&B. There is noise from the street below but it didn't bother us at all and I consider myself a light sleeper. The breakfast was lovely, filling and varied.

Room Tip: There were 4 rooms (as far as we could tell) and they all seemed of a similar standard. The staff also switched us to a bigger room because it was empty and they thought we might prefer it.

you are lucky if you get to stay here! the gracious, kind owners (who are not totally fluent in english but good enough - certainly far better than my italian) fix breakfast every morning & roll it into your room on a lovely cart to enjoy in your own room. our room was more than huge with a king bed and two twin daybeds with loads of room even with a big table, cabinets, shelves. it wouldn't even be crowded with 4 people. it becomes an instant home. this was a family home and the husband grew up here as well as raising their own children here. the apartment is now divided into three b & b rooms. it is a 3rd floor walkup (actually 4) which might be too difficult for some but we thought of it as a workout, and it was well worth the climb to overlook all of Piazza Barberini. there is some street noise but get out the earplugs, and again it is well worth it for the location and elegance. we highly recommend this b & b. be sure to give them an arrival time so they can meet you since they no longer live here. the location is easily walkable to the Trevi Fountain or the Spanish Steps. metro stop for everything else is at the corner which is the start of the Via Veneto. loved the experience! thank you for your hospitality ....

Room Tip: we saw all the rooms, and more family stayed in the room facing the side street. all rooms are nice with beautiful furniture and fabrics but the huge one facing the Piazza would be our first choice

This place is well located, very close to the Metro, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain...15 minute or so walk to the Villa Borghese and Gardens too. The couple who run the place are nice and accommodating, and they serve a very good breakfast every morning. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is due to the noisy location. If you're Ok with some pretty heavy traffic sounds, you'll be fine here. It took a little getting used to for me, but ultimately I was able to sleep through it.

Not so much a hotel, more like staying with a family, without the distraction of dealing with the family! Very inexpensive for the area, and located right in the middle of everything, with a Metro station just a few feet away and lots of restaurants all around. There are only three rooms, we were in number 3 which contains a very nice king size bed, a large dining table for your breakfast, a piano, and a nice view of the street. Be warned, there's no elevator and its 66 steps that you'll climb every time! It's like a nice older place, very comfortable. One issue is that with only 3 rooms, they aren't going to be serving breakfast from 7 to 9 like the big hotels. Normally it's served at some point between 8 and 9. If you have something scheduled early, you'll have to let them know the morning before. I'm not so sure what they would do if you wanted it much earlier than 8, probably leave something the evening before. We had no problems with this, but I can understand that it might be for others. Room 3 comes with its own doorway off of the stairway, a bit of a bonus, I think.

My only complaint about our stay was a mix up when we first arrived, to find that our room had been given to someone else. Luckily, we had an Italian friend with us who was able to sort it all out,i'm not sure how easy it would have been to resolve without him. As it happened they were able to give us another room which was great, i haven't got another complaint about the stay everything else was fantastic and the value of the room for the location was unbeatable! On the whole i would thoroughly recommend.
