“What a find!”
Reviewed 7 September 2012

Stayed here end of May en route to Florence. Felt safe. Excellent large bedroom. Sparklingly clean accommodation throughout. Good plumbing (always a plus!); Julia is awesome, she gave us so much advice and we even booked our Sistine chapel tickets in advance on her internet. Only three rooms and breakfast is in reception, but don't be put off - if you are first timers in Rome this is the place to be. Vatican City ... wow! Termini for tube/bus less than ten minutes walk .. but you can walk most of Rome anyway.

in the evening when you are dead on your feet head back to BB Queen and eat at Babbo's. Turn right out of BB Queen and cross over the street for excellent food, al fresco dining and reasonable prices for Rome

Would we go back to BB Queen? Without a doubt!

Julia is the owner of the three room BBQueen and truly is a new member of our family! This VERY CLEAN and perfectly furnished b&b is less than five blocks from Termini train station. The area of town is safe and the surrounding restaurants are excellent! Barbablu restorante (right next door) is family owned and over the top on their service - ask for Francesco - he is a doll!
We spent three nights here prior to taking a train to Tuscany. After a week in Tuscany we came back for another two nights. Julia was helpful in arranging our car service to and from the airport and right on with the restaurant suggestions that she made. The breakfast that she offered was delightful and well planned - she truly took care of us!
Without hesitation the BB Queen should be the number one bed and breakfast in Rome. The place is immaculate, the price is completely affordable and the service that Julia offers is totally unbeatable...And her English is perfect! My two young children (age 6 & 4) still talk about the care and friendship that was offered by her. My dream is for them to see the rest of the world, but we might have to go back to Rome in the near future just to stay here and see Julia again!
Give this place a try - you'll understand and you won't be disappointed!

We have just spent three nights in a very clean, very quiet and compact B&B.
Our hostess Julia was on hand to assist with directions and suggestions and great coffee for breakfast.
Easy walking distance to Termini and most things.
She is rightly very proud of the Tripadvisor Star rating certificate that has just arrived.
We will be back

We stayed here for one night before going on a cruise using two of her three rooms. The third room was not occupied so we had the place to ourselves after Julia left for the day. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the B&B is well located with restaurants nearby. My wife has problems with her knees so the walk to the metro station was a little further than we would have liked but the distance was no problem for the rest of us. A/C worked great. Julia is a wonderful hostess. We used her computer but had trouble finding the @ key. Have her show it to you before she leaves. We got a very early start in the morning so she put our breakfast in the refrigerator. The kitchen was very handy as a place to congregate, make a cup of coffee, store drinks, and have a light snack. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We had an aweome time at BB Queen and are very happy that we chose this bed and breakfast. Julia is an absolut gem, she really makes this place. Her dinner recommendations were great and just added to our lovely stay in Rome. She also helped us with site seeing recommendations and printed tickets to the vatican tour. The room was very nice, quiet, clean and spacious. Breakfast is good as well. The location is perfect. Only a 5 minute walk to the Termini train station which comes in handy for catching the subway or any of the sight seeing tours. I highly recommend the BB Queen.

Very well located, an easy stroll from Termini Station for arrival and departure but even nearer to Republic for everyday (less busy). Spacious room (we've had rediculously small in Rome previously) and spotlessly clean.
Breakfast is put down in front of you and at first glance doesn't seem much but when I thought about it I decided I probably eat more than I would usually!
The real joy here is Julia who couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful, making it a real pleasure to stay. If/when we're in Rome again would definatly stay here again.

I booked this B&B through Venere.com. My last stay after 2 weeks traveling Europe. It's close to Termini station. From the outside, it doesn't look convincing but once you get into the B&B, it's another world entirely. Unlike relatively dirty neighborhood, the BBQueen is squeaky clean. Room is spacious, even though the bathroom is tiny. Quite modern interior with a small breakfast room, since it has only 3 rooms. Maybe there are a lot of this quality of bnb all over Rome, but the main reason why I am so attached to this place is the owner, Julia. She is so fantastic. She caters to all my needs, so concern with my welfare during my short stay. I can't say enough good things about her. It's may be just a bed and breakfast, but Julia is the 5 star of the whole stay. I will definitely come back to BBQueen someday.
