We stayed for 4 nights in the double deluxe on the first floor. The room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. The hotel was booked up but we never saw any of the other guests, we felt like we were staying in our own townhouse. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful for making reservations or giving directions. We liked staying at Mario de Fiori- the location was fantastic- in a very chic part of town for shopping and great location. While we were right near the Spanish Steps, we never felt like we were too central/ too touristy in location. Lots of high end shopping right out the front door, very nice walk to many great piazzas and perfect at night with a quiet street to come back to that always has one restaurant open at the end of the block for a nightcap. My only negative comment would be, and perhaps this was due to being on the first floor, from 7am-7:30am every morning we would be woken up by sounds out on the street, but then it would be quiet again. Room had a nice nespresso machine for a quick caffeine jolt after walking 10 miles through Rome and getting ready for dinner.

From the moment you book the Mario de' Fiori 37, the staff of this tiny hotel does everything to make you feel welcome and at home: It starts with a detailed info mail about restaurants and airport pick-up options, followed by fast mail responses regarding such bookings - and finally a friendly welcome at the hotel. The room looks just as you expect it to look after studying the web-page, and it is indeed very nicely designed. The mix of the materials, the colors, the new and the old - it's all nicely blended. Even the standard room has plenty of space for two, while all the usual amenities are present. It's not your usual hotel - e.g. there is no bar and the decent continental breakfast is room-service only, but the place feels homey and the location is just perfect - shopping, Piazza di Spagna, restaurants, taxi ranks - it's all in front of your door.

Perfect location - in the heart of shopping, restaurants, etc. The hotel is very close to the Spanish Steps but not so close that you have crowds to battle. It's a pretty easy walk to all tourist sites - Pantheon, Vatican City, Forum. The rooms are small but comparable to other rooms in Rome. They are very clean and beautifully appointed. The employees are extremely helpful and are fluent in English. The only problem we had was getting a consistent wifi signal from the room....however, the lobby always had a strong signal.

We stayed for 2 nights and didn't want to leave. We stayed in the rooftop suite which was pure luxury with amazing space. Teodora on the front desk was beyond helpful and couldn't do more to help with recommendations to restaurants and friendly chat. We would not stay anywhere else when we return.

We arrived to Mario De Fiori with high expectations after reading all the great recommendations. It is not a big hotel but part of a 3 tiny hotels in rome from the Luxurysuites group .
The room leaved up to all our expectations. We booked an executive room. Although is is the simplest room in this boutique hotel, there was nothing simple in this room. For Rome standards it was a huge room it was beautifully decorated, and had great coffee machine that spread nice smell in the room. The shower was one of the best with excellent soaps and shampoos. The windows were of the best quality- once closed we never heard there was a lively street beneath us.
Service was great. We got excellent recommendation for breakfast, dinner and touring option both before our arrival, and during our stay.
The location was unbelievable. Just 2 minutes walk from the Spanish steps, 10 minutes from Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Piazza Navona.

we will definately coose Mario de fiori on our next visit to Rome.
