I've stayed at Frank's House 3 times. Frank is a great host, always ready to offer advise on where to eat and what to see. The property is just a 5-10 minute walk from Termini station and 30 mins walk from other attractions.

We spent our last vacation in Rome, and decided to stay at Frank's House. Honestly, the place looks much better than in the website photos, and is very clean, comfortable and cozy. It is also very well located close to Termini Station and the subway, but we could still reach most of the major tourist points by walking because it was pretty central as well. Besides the place, our hosts were very helpful and down to earth, and always available to answer our questions and make suggestions for different places to go eat without spending a lot of money. I'd say that if you follow their advice you'll really enjoy Rome as a local! Good value, great stay!

This was really a lovely little place with two incredible hosts. Frank and Soledad saw to all our needs, answered all our questions, and really just made our whole experience wonderful. The accommodation in the larger room was first class with very nice bedding and the bathroom was impeccably clean, not to mention that considering the prices in Rome this place was practically a steal. The breakfast wasn't included but they told us about some very nice bakeries close by, and for those prices who's complaining? We would highly reccomend it.

My wife and I stayed at Frank's house (room #1 with private bath) for two nights. Franks was VERY easy to communicate with in making the arrangements. He had a friend of his meet us at the apt. when we first arrived, which was very helpful. The room is large enough, very clean and well appointed. Like a nice hotel room really.Comfortable bed with extra soft sheets and fluffy pillows. It has windows overlooking the street, the heat works fine, the wifi is fast, the bathroom is clean. There is a lift in the building. The apt. is near a park away from the tourist area, but most everything in Rome is within walking distance. It is also about a 10 minute walk to the train station, which is good. Safe but not a fancy area. I kind of like being in a place that is mostly where people live instead of just vacation. Thanks Frank and Brendan for making our short trip to Rome so easy.

My cousin and I stayed at Frank's for four nights in January 2013. The off-season rate we got was phenomenal but we easily would have paid more. Frank's House is centrally located near Termini, but just far enough away to be in an actual neighborhood. The metro was a block away, which provided easy access to some sites, and the Colosseum was about a twenty minute walk. We stayed in the smaller room with the detached, private bathroom. It was spotless, well decorated and the bed was super comfortable. I shared it with my cousin and was worried that it would be small but in fact it was larger than an american Queen, I believe. Frank was eminently helpful, providing a number of recommendations for restaurants and bars throughout the city. He also allowed us to relax in the room after our checkout, which was such a relief for our feet, before we headed out to the airport.

We loved our stay at frank's house. The room was very clean, clean towels and very comfortable bathroom too. We had the one with a non ensuite but the batroom was right next to our room so had no problem whatsoever. The room was also nice and cosy with ac to warm up the room quickly. Considering the price, this was surely a great place. The are is not central rome however still walking distance to most places plus ther is a metro station right outside which takes you to all the best places in rome.

Apart from the excellent off-season rate we just got, Frank's House was an excellent choice. We had the larger room with the balcony and ensuite bathroom, and it was by far the largest room we've stayed in Italy. The bathroom was spotless, and the whole general feel and decor of the room with that chandelier and old mirror were just fantastic. There are lots of places to go eat in the neighborhood as well, and Frank will direct you to just about all of them. It's really easy to get around from there too because you have the metro and a lot of buses and trams. Highly recommended!
