“Clean and Quiet”
Reviewed 6 July 2012

We chose to stay here because there was ample parking, the price was good, and it was close to the train station that takes you into the center of Rome. We were only here one night but it was a great place to sleep and close to the bus stop that took us to the train station. We felt our vehicle would be fine in the location. They do have a shuttle that will take you to the metro but had fun just hopping at the bus stop close by. Hotel staff was nice and spoke English! The rooms were large and clean. Great nights sleep after a bustling day in Rome!

We stayed 3 nights in July 2012 with 2 adults and 2 children. The price was fair by Euro standards and we were pleased with the security of our room. If the buisiness isn't new then it's be renovated lately because everything was pristine. The only improvements I'd make is consistent internet, add a swimpool, and longer hours for the shuttle to the metro station. The breakfast was a nice touch. This place will be on our list if we ever return to Rome.

We stayed in june 2012 for three days. We went to Rome for travel. The hotel is a bussiness hotel and is away from the touristic area. But we preffered to stay in a clean and big hotel. So we chose it. The staff was nice and helpfull, the room was clean, the bathroom is clean and large, breakfast is continental and good enough for us. The hotel has shuttle to Rebibia metro station between 07:30 and 10:30, every 30 minutes. You need to reserve it from the day before, because 8 people can use it at once. But it is not so bad to miss it, because you can go to metro station by the 075, 447 and 437 busses. Tor Cervara-Costi is the bus stop tou need to get on and off. The busses pass frequent enough. You take the buss in front of the Cafe 777. It takes 10 minutes from hotel to Rebibia metro station and 20 minutes from Rebibia to Termini. The metro starts in the morning at 05:30 and lasts 23:30 in the evening. Busses last at 00:15 in the evening. Once you learn the way it is not difficult and worths the comfort you live in the hotel.

The domidea is a great choice for those who prefer to stay in the more quiet side of Rome. It is situated on the outskirts of Rome, but with a quick bus ride to rebbibia metro station it is fairly well connected to the rest of the city. The staff are friendly and happy to offer advice on where to eat in the area, and how to use local transport. The rooms are clean and have a pleasant decor, the showers are particularly good :) we greatly enjoyed our stay here.

My boyfriend and I stayed here while in Rome. The hotel is obvioulsy not centrally located but for the price we didn't mind commuting.
The day we arrived we took the metro from the airport to the Termini station. From there we took a taxi to the hotel. Once at the hotel the front desk staff told us how to get around by bus and metro which was very inexpensive and took about 1/2 an hour to 40 minutes to get into central Rome.
The hotel does offer a shuttle to and from Rebibbia station (closest metro to the hotel which goes into the city) which we utilized a couple of times. When coming back to the hotel they ask that you call once at Rebibbia to arrange for a pickup.

The hotel is very modern and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Due to an error on my part, we arrived at the Domidea Hotel (took several frustrating hours to locate) the day before we had booked, only to be told "We are completely full". After a five-minute "discussion with the manager", it turns out that a room (a very clean, dark dungeon, looking up to underground parking area, even though we were on the first floor [?]) was available after all, but it would cost "30 extra euro for the night". Ho-hum...
Not sure what some reviewers are used to, but this hotel is in the midst of decrepit warehouses and abandoned factories. It is at the very edge of the city proper (about 150 meters) in an area without any character whatsoever. Do yourselves a favour: spend the extra bucks and stay in a place deserving of the beautiful city of Rome.

Room Tip: avoid the dark rooms with small horizontal windows that look up into the underground parking area.

I travelled with my family - wife and 2 kids (12 &6) last week to Rome. The hotel is amazing in terms of rooms and the courteous staff. Though it is far from the city centre the hotel provides shuttle service to Rebibia Metro station from where getting to any part of rome is easy. It is by far one of the best hotels I have stayed in and for the price I paid it was just amazing and enjoyable......
