“review of Cafe”
Reviewed 20 June 2013

The small cafe next to the restaurant serves the best cappuccino I had in Rome. Stop in for a quick Roman breakfast of pastry and coffee. It is located on the corner of Via Veneto and Via Sicilia (next to the Westin). They have indoor and outdoor seating. The service is a little slow, but nothing outrageous. If you are in a rush, go up to the bar and order yourself. Otherwise, grab a table and relax for a bit while you enjoy your meal. Don't bother having a full "american" breakfast at Doney as it is very expensive. Step out of your comfort zone and choose an Italian breakfast and save your money for a big lunch someplace else!!

“Breakfast - busy but bountiful.”
Reviewed 5 June 2013

We had breakfast at this restaurant twice - part of the Westin Excelsior. luckily we had a booking on the first visit, so could get in and really enjoy the ambiance, food and coffee. Next time we were not so lucky and had to wait even to get a seat on the footpath cafe. Food was buffet and everything possible! Great selection of Western Breakfast including fantastic omelettes.

This was recommended in one of our guide books.

Food was ok but very overpriced for what it was. Service very slow and not very attentive.

Best meal I have ever had. No more needs to be said, it does what it says on the sign. Best steak I have ever had. Wine was fantastic, and the setting perfect
