Can't be beat for about 40USD. Great beds, clean room, nice window view. Free breakfast beat another 4 star hotel I visited. Recommended for an affordable stay. Mini bar is not free but affordable, offers transport services. WiFi was very weak in Room 5 (1 bar), sat in a chair inside by the door (4-5 bars). Tricky to find this place, feel free to ask a hotel clerk on the corner elsewhere on how to find this place.
Use the Castro Pretoria metro stop to get to termini and transfer lines or stay on towards your destination.
Vatican Visiting Tip: Don't come to Rome late on a Saturday (past 1200). You could/will end up turning a day trip into a two night stay if your train is late like mine. You miss it on Sat, closed Sun, have to wait for Mon. Skip the line access is worth it - look it up on TripAdvisor/Viator. Approximately 40EUR per person, but this includes your tickets (READ your contract to ensure this) and I used a Dec holiday promo for 10USD off.
Metro, Uber, Buses Travel Tips: Use Google Maps to navigate a destination in Rome and choose Uber for a 10EUR credit (once given limited time offer). I had an Uber fare that was 16 cents, pretty awesome. Subways? Get on Blue Metro towards Coloseo (Coliseum, Forum, walk to Pantheon) or the Red toward the Vaticani stops, wherever it is you...Can't be beat for about 40USD. If you head toward the Pantheon, explore, and want to go back without walking all that way, find express bus #40 Termini to take you back to termini. It is "left" of the Pantheon entrance, and across the street from where you will find the ticket machine kiosks, not directly at the kiosks (for this specific bus).
All of this can be paid for with a day pass on the transit, well worth 7EUR. It is both convenient and usually a savings. You should download routes and schedules to your phone before you travel. Beware of possible pickpockets.More
