We were a bit shocked when we reached the place, as it looked much better on the photos. Nevertheless, Gianfranco made up for it with his service. He was warm, friendly, and very eager to help. We reached late at night, and he helped us with our luggage and quickly gave us some pointers on how to travel around the city, to look out for pickpockets, and so on. Location was good - just a few minutes away from Cipro metro station, and maybe around 10 minutes walk to the Vatican. Wifi was quite stable and strong too. One gripe was that the bathroom was not well designed, so it was a bit inconvenient. The rooms are also not soundproof at all - we could hear everything going on in the living room.

Accomodation in Rome was quite expensive, and this is definitely one of the best value-for-money places you can get. The wall of the living room was filled with testimonials from visitors all over the world. That alone should be proof of how likeable Gianfranco is.

I can't think of anything original to add to all the excellent reviews. `Franco was from the very first moment such a convivial host wanting to help you out as much as possible, and for me, I think that is the most important think in a place, once you've found somewhere that is comfortable and well situated.
It's a part of town away from the bulk of tourists, yet is a short hop on the nearby inexpensive metro or bus to most places in Rome (or from either of the main train stations or bus stations). We walked everywhere in fact and didn't even take any bus or metro.
Local restaurants are relatively more authentic and less expensive
Well done Franco

Just what we were looking for: Neighborhood Feel Location , Safe Area, Quiet, Affordable Cost, Cleanliness, and Friendly Host. Simple breakfast was ideal. Perfect choice for us!!!.
Gianfranco gave us great tips on getting to sites that we wanted to see in the most efficient manner possible.

The host, Gianfranco, was so welcoming and friendly, it really did take us by surprise! He helped us right from our initial enquiry through to even after we had left the B&B for the next destination. It really was extraordinary customer service, the best I have ever experienced in my life, and deserving of a special mention, or even recognition from Trip Advisor. He also arranged our guided walk of the Colosseum and ancient Rome for us. Gianfranco is a real credit to the tourism industry and to Italy, thank you. Ok, on to the hotel. Everything was great. It was well looked after, had all we needed, was clean, a filling breakfast, plenty of Italian coffee, comfortable bed, a balcony, the lot, and at a great price. The perfect place to stay in Rome, which is exactly why I will be recommending it to my friends and family. Thank you.

close to the Vatican and just 2 blocks from the metro leading you to explore Roma! Gianfranco is honest, helpful and makes you feel like family. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast is simple and gets you going for the day. Also, Gianfranco s wife, Francesa, is a wonderful tour guide - very knowledgable and reasonable. We can't wait to go back! Ciao - Grazie!

Very honest B&B, clean and big rooms. The guy responsible for the rooms is very polite, punctual in his dates. He helps us a lot to organize our tour and to avoid misdirection's. The share kitchen is very nice, very handy. The breakfast was perfect, all fresh and tasteful

Comfortable, clean, bright and close to St. Peter's Square and especially The Vatican Museums ..... in a nutshell!! Everything was ok! I would say really nice. We were really pleased with the B & B staff, which has proved very helpful. Recommend it.
