“Sometimes good sometimes not”
Reviewed 27 April 2014 via mobile

This one depends on luck. In our 3 nights stay we tried 2 rooms. Both on level 1, same level as the recep. The first was a small room in a separate area with the recep, low privacy but at least wifi and toilets were good.

The second room for the last night was a much much big room just in front of the recep. Privacy definitely hit to its low point as everything could be heard. But well, last night there so still ok. Place is clean at least.
Y
The location is not too bad within walking distance to termini. Just that it does gives a sleazy unsafe feeling but it's actually ok. Well it's budget after all.

Dirty room. Stinky and not washed bed linen. There was no hot water for entire evening. We had stayed there just for few hours (one night, morning flight) - but they had ruined our mood completely. Avoid this place and find something better.

Via Varese is really picturesque, calm and tranquil and max 5 mins from Termini. This hotel is clean and pleasant. The place has security gates - so nice and safe - if you arrive at night you may need to ring the bell on the right hand side of the gatepost as the security gates will be locked, and they'll buzz you in - all very easy (you'll have your own key for them for the duration of your stay). The reception is situation on the first floor using the right-hand staircase. They have rooms on the second floor, which is where we stayed, and I would have thought these preferable to having the rooms directly off reception on 1st floor - with all the incumbent noises which must go with it - although it looks like those on the 1st floor have front facing views. The place is surrounded by streets full of restaurants, the ones we visited I've reviewed - so have a click and see - and plenty more besides! The (free) breakfast is at Rik's cafe - a stone's throw away - which means you don't get disturbed by the stench of breakfast cooking.

We (my boyfriend and I) stayed here for 4 nights and we simply loved it! It looked exactly the same like on the photos. The location is great, the room was spacious, very modern and clean, with clean towels each day. It had everything we could ask for and that little fridge was a cherry on top. Jewel was an amazing host who gave us a room with a little balcony so my boyfriend could smoke, but we agreed that until next time he has to quit this ugly habit. No one disturbed us, we had our own set of keys and we could enter and go out of the building whenever we wanted. I will never search for any other accommodation when I go to Rome. Thank you guys!

Room Tip: We had a room inside the building, so ask for that one, I suppose it's more quiet than the one o...

We stayed there because the b&b where we usually stayed in Rome was fully booked and it was a very short notice. First of all, the place is not run by Italians, so if you're looking for something typical this is not the place. Second, they seem to be very disorganized, 3 people to handle 1 check-in. The rooms are spacious and very modern but we had to wait like 2 hours to get the towels. For breakfast you're given a voucher for a coffee shop down the road. The breakfast consists of a coffee and a croissant, nothing amazing. Overall, I wouldn't stay there again.

The location was good and close to the train station. There was internet, but the connection was spotty. The bathroom was in the room, clean, and spacious. The room itself was big for the price and comfortable with a little fridge as well. There was an elevator and the staff (Jewel) was more than happy to help us with anything we needed. There was no curfew, you had a key to the building, and you were able to leave your luggage there after you checked out. Overall, it was a good experience.

My first time writing a review because it's seriously not worth to stay. I have reserved two rooms for the stay. Upon arrival, we had to change rooms, not very convenient at all. Breakfast was at a different place as it's not advertised on details. Impossible to connect on wireless and the host just kept asking us to try again, not helpful at all.
One night the room was running out of hot water, I told the person who was running the night shift, not helpful again, just kept saying it's working. What was working? Nothing was working, no hot water for the night, no wireless during the whole stay. We were also informed by the staff that we were only allowed to use one towel through the whole stay as it's not a hotel there. Ridiculous responses from staff.

Room Tip: Don't pick this hotel, go somewhere else.
