“Charming”
Reviewed 30 September 2013 via mobile

This place is near our hotel, so we stopped for a quick lunch. The sandwiches are amazing. The meats and tomatoes are sliced after you order your sandwich, and the freshness is reflected in the flavor. Yum! The only drawback is the lack of seating, it is primarily a takeout restaurant. Nice people, very helpful (not fluent in English, but their English is far better than our Italian), and great food. A find, if you want a quick and casual bite to eat.

“Delicious fresh sandwiches”
Reviewed 22 October 2012

This restaurant was near our hotel and we stopped by multiple times as it was great for a sandwich on the go. The sandwiches were made with fresh ingredients with the meat sliced on site when ordered. Despite using much better ingredients the sandwiches were still less than you would pay for one at Subway. We tried the Amelie, Margot, and Isabelle and enjoyed them all.

“Great quick lunch, fresh sandwich”
Reviewed 12 September 2012

We were looking for a quick lunch after taking long tours all morning and was getting tired of the same old tomato and cheese that have been sitting all day in the other quick lunch cafes. We each had a "Grande" sandwich around 6 Euro each. They were made fresh and very tastey. It was a great change of pace for lunch. The bread was very good, and it was more of a sub style sandwich than the warm paninis we have been eating all week. We also bought a fresh fruit cup about 3 Euro and two sodas. Took it all togo back to our hotel to eat. They were very nice and packed napkins and plasticware without having to ask. She also helped us choose our sandwiches. It was a great location to our hotel.

“Wonderful sandwiches to go!”
Reviewed 30 May 2012

We stopped here to have lunch on the day we visited Villa Borghese. We expected to eat in the restaurant - but the pictures you see on Tripadvisor are the entire restaurant. It's really no more than a walk in sandwich shop. We ordered the Amelie and the Margot and with directions from the clerk headed off to Villa Borghese for a picnic lunch. The sandwiches were great, the bread to die for. True french bread with tons of sesame seeds - what a nice break from pizza and pasta for lunch!
