“a lovely room in a quiet neighbourhood”
Reviewed 23 April 2012

The room was large and furnished with beautiful old furniture (but a recent mattress!), I also had a private bathroom outside the room and a little kitchen corner to make a cup of tea and prepare breakfast as I wanted. Don't forget to print the itinerary before coming (I walked quite a lot before finding it: it was just at the limit of my tourist map and I got lost in the white unknown... but it was an enjoyable walk as the neighbourhood is very nice, it is also very quiet at night. The owner is friendly and kept her temper when I arrived 3 hours later than what we had agreed, but it's not a reason to be late when you go!

Room Tip: Based on the fire exit map, it seems that the room I had was the largest (the other one has the bath...

Very clean and reasonably comfortable B+B, with reasonably sized rooms. Though it is a bit far out of town so make sure you get a bus map!
We had two single beds and en-suite shower, with a kitchenette too. Only trouble was the hot water was somewhat erratic (can't believe noone else has mentioned this!!!) - you have to run the taps for AGES to get hot water and at other times it would only work if you ran the kitchen tap too.
It was nice to have a little kitchen, even though it only had a microwave - the fridge was in the bedroom, so I had to sleep with earplugs to avoid being woken with the noise of the fridge.
The breakfast provided wasn't very nice - but there is a nearby supermarket and bakeries to supplement this.
Its a good choice if everywhere more central is booked up, but I'd rather have stayed closer to the centre of Rome.

This little B & B is just outside of the hustle and bustle of all the traffic of tourists. Yet... close enough to get to everything! I enjoyed seeing the area of where the true Romans live and not just the tourist spots. There is a great outdoor market just behind the building to get fresh fruit that you can store in your fridge in your room. Beautiful antiques decorate the very clean rooms. I found it very comfortable.
