A italian deli like osteria for local food. It's our second visit to this place because my husband missed their garlic bread. We were the only tourists there. A great place to experience italian local food.

They do not have a menu, you pick what you want from a variety of Italian dishes displayed inside. You eat with the locals on a simple terras outside. The food is good & valie for money. We paid 35 euro for 4..... Great place for lunch, about 800 m from galleria borgese.

This is a deli like restaurant with a few tables north east of the Termini. It is far enough away to be in a residential district. No other tourists during our visit. The tripadvisor logo is on their window. They have, as is typical for urban rosticceria, a deli case like set up, with pizza on one end and main dishes, pastas, and vegetables on the other. One of us had a swordfish in a tomato and pepper sauce and the other veal piccata along with bread and vegetables. The tomato and pepper sauce was excellent while the veal average. However, the quality vastly exceeded the 9 Euro per person price. The waitress was very friendly, helpful, and spoke English well.

After a crowded trip to the Borghese Gallery on our last day in Italy we were hungry, tired and sick of tourists. This place was a welcome refuge. We had chicken, potatoes, spinach, lasagna, wine and pop for €17.50. No tourists in sight, uncrowned and open for an early dinner.

This restaurant was a short walk from the Borghese Gallery into what seemed to be a more residential Roman neighborhood- and was a nice change of pace from the usual restaurants. When you walk in there are an array of choices behind the display case - gnocchi, pasta, stuffed tomatoes, roasted chicken, veal, pizza, etc. You pick the items you want ( I had the gnocchi in tomato sauce and a tomato stuffed with rice) and then you take your seat. The food is heated and brought to you. Flavors were great and staff was very friendly.
