Torre Colonna is a fantastic medieval tower conversion to 5 unique bedrooms in an ideal location within Rome to visit all the main attractions. the longest walk we had was the Vatican City (30 minutes). The rooms are terrific, super cold air con, needed. Minibar, internet wifi connection, comfy bed and sky tv. Breakfast was excellant on the roof top terrace, delivered each morning by Alvin, nothing better than freshly squeezed orange juice and an espresso. This was our first time in Rome and would return to Torre Colonna again and would certainly recommend it to any of our friends and family, Igor was particularly helpful with his guidance on access to attractions and public transport.

Torre Colonna is a gorgeous medieval tower with breathtaking views across Rome. We had such a wonderful time, very romantic. From the rooftop hot tub you can see the coliseum, palazzo de venezie and so many beautiful churches, you could stay there all day! The location is perfect for strolling to the coliseum, and there are some sweet squares hidden away in the neighbourhood that are well worth a look - Torre Colonna is a perfect base from which to wander and explore the real Rome. On top of that, the service was great (thanks Alvin!) and the owner, Sarah, is very welcoming and can give advice on where to eat, what to see and what needs advanced booking. As a Brit who's lived in Rome for many years, she is well placed to advise on all the scams at the tourist traps too! I will certainly be back. Thanks a lot for a truly stress free and fun holiday!

We stayed here on a recent visit, loved it! the rooftop jacuzzi, the beautiful and super comfortable room, amazing shower, efficient wifi, stylish comfort and all in the best location for the sights of Rome. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, I will definitely come here again and recommend to friends.

Our first time in Rome and staying here just made it perfect, looked at cheaper options but just not inviting and shabby. Here you are in a perfect position to see everything, and getting back on foot if out late at night,is no problem. You get what you pay for-Rome isn't cheap !
The rooms are great ,nothing pretentious, very stylish but Inkeeping and restrained. Our room was very quiet and the aircon was too (a godsend for a good sleep).Really comfy bed, fantastic shower,I want one ! ,great staff-Alvin was so pleasant and helpful ( and his lovely wife) and the rooftop is like a scene from a Bond film.
Our Roman Holiday would not have been the same if we hadn't stayed here,go on - do yourself a favour and just book it !!!
P.S. they recommend and organise an efficient and well priced taxi transfer.

Room Tip: Room 5 -a lucky find for 3 person occupancy, sofa bed very comfortable for our tall daughter.

Myself and my husband just spent a night at this romantic top quality hotel. It is right in the centre of historic Rome and the staff were just magnificent and so helpful, particularly Sarah.

What can I see, there is a Jacuzzi on the Rome that overlooks the Colosseum and Piazza Venezia...it really was the most perfect to unwind after spending a day walking around seeing the tourist attractions which are just a 5 minute walk from the tower,

The rooms were stylish and meticulously clean and fully equipped with a mini bar, hydro massage shower, flat screen television and all the English speaking news channels.

I have stayed in many hotels where WiFi is published as being free but when you go to use it the connect is slower that a turtle...not the case here, the WiFi connection was faster than the connection I have at home!!

I will be coming back to Rome and I will definitely be staying here if they have any rooms available!

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Unfortunately our stay didn't get off to the best start as we were unable to get into the property for about half an hour, which was frustrating in the heat. The rooms are unique but quite small and we felt that some of the furnishings looked quite tired. We had to ask for the complimentary bottle of Prosecco currently being offered on the website, which was awkward and I was made to feel quite bad about chasing it. We were unfortunately unable to take advantage of the jacuzzi as there were flies in there and after our previous experiences we felt unable to ask for this to be cleaned. However, after one night without air conditioning we were moved to another room, which we were grateful for. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful and the views across Rome were superb. The location is great - very central and within walking distance of many of Rome's main sights. Overall, we found the property to be very unique and wonderfully located but we were left feeling slightly disappointed by certain aspects of our stay, given the cost per night.

Our stay at Torre Colonna was incredible and definitely one of the most unique places that we've experienced while traveling. It is in a perfect location for walking to all the famous sites - Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Roman Forum, Spanish Steps, etc. We traveled with two children so I did plenty of research before selecting Torre Colonna, and I'm so glad we made the perfect choice! The staff - Sarah, Alvin & Igor - were very helpful. Alvin made a fabulous breakfast each day and the rooftop dining was the icing on the cake to our wonderful stay! Would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.
