Just back from an awesome 3-night stay in this unique boutique hotel. 10 out of 10 for location, service and comfort. Staff, Igor and Alvin, really made our stay extra special, very accommodating and helpful with all our 'to do' list queries. Excellent wi-fi coverage. Breakfast on the terrace was a treat, with amazing views, 100% freshly squeezed orange juice and delicious coffee. There is one room per floor, we (3 adults) stayed in the suite on the 4th floor which consisted of a double bed and a separate room with two singles. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with quirky features! Slight mix-up with our reservation from bookings.com however management resolved the issue. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The Residenza Torre Colonna is a super guest house in the heart of Rome; the rooms are very comfortable and clean with a unique twist. Our room had a four poster bed extremely comfortable and a Marble bath tub in the bedroom with separate shower and loo. The room had free Wi-Fi and tea and coffee making facilities the breakfast room was on the roof and had superb views of Rome; you sat drinking your coffee in the morning taking in all the wonderful buildings of Rome.
The service was excellent very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, thank you to Albion & Egor for making our stay so enjoyable.
This is a wonderful guest house within walking distance of many of the main attractions; my wife and I will certainly return and would recommend Residenza Torre Colonna.

We stayed here with our two college sons and it was wonderful. The location is excellent - close to the forum, coliseum, trevi fountain and lots of good eating spots. The Vatican is about 15 min away using transit. The bathroom is nice and the shower is excellent. Alvin and Igor are great hosts and prepare a wonderful European breakfast up on the roof. Can't forget the wonderful air conditioning! Definitely recommend this place

We spent four wonderful nights at the Torre Colonna and we could not recommend it enough. The most perfect location in a unique setting with very helpful and attentive service from Igor, Alvin and Sarah. Each room is a unique combination of history and modern facilities and the rooftop breakfast a great way to start the day. Within a 15 minute walk of most of the key sites and restaurants aplenty within easy reach. An absolute must is to relax in the rooftop jacuzzi which affords the most amazing sites of Rome, the Colosseum, the Pantheon and St Peters beyond. An amazing stay which exceeded our expectations.

Just got back from a fantastic 3 night stay at the Torre Colonna. I couldn't recommend this place enough. It's not cheap - but it IS great value. The location is perfect - 15 minute walk to anywhere you'd want to go in central Rome - and the staff are first class. Our room was airy, spacious and very comfortable. Free Champagne upon arrival (which we chilled immediately before heading to the fantastic roof terrace to drink it) was a lovely touch as we were celebrating my girlfriends 30th birthday. I can't imagine there is a better place to stay in Rome.

Torre Colonna is a fantastic medieval tower conversion to 5 unique bedrooms in an ideal location within Rome to visit all the main attractions. the longest walk we had was the Vatican City (30 minutes). The rooms are terrific, super cold air con, needed. Minibar, internet wifi connection, comfy bed and sky tv. Breakfast was excellant on the roof top terrace, delivered each morning by Alvin, nothing better than freshly squeezed orange juice and an espresso. This was our first time in Rome and would return to Torre Colonna again and would certainly recommend it to any of our friends and family, Igor was particularly helpful with his guidance on access to attractions and public transport.

Torre Colonna is a gorgeous medieval tower with breathtaking views across Rome. We had such a wonderful time, very romantic. From the rooftop hot tub you can see the coliseum, palazzo de venezie and so many beautiful churches, you could stay there all day! The location is perfect for strolling to the coliseum, and there are some sweet squares hidden away in the neighbourhood that are well worth a look - Torre Colonna is a perfect base from which to wander and explore the real Rome. On top of that, the service was great (thanks Alvin!) and the owner, Sarah, is very welcoming and can give advice on where to eat, what to see and what needs advanced booking. As a Brit who's lived in Rome for many years, she is well placed to advise on all the scams at the tourist traps too! I will certainly be back. Thanks a lot for a truly stress free and fun holiday!
