Hotel is located a few blocks off Via Veneto, around the corner from Am. Embassy. Staff is very helpful and accommodating and will assist in making tour reservations, etc. In fact our tour of the Vatican arranged by the hotel was outstanding. Our room was large and airy exactly like the picture. Breakfast buffet very European. Easy walk to Barberini metro and Spanish stairs. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A beautiful hotel great service. The staff is very helpful with anything needed.
A great private jacuzzi and sauna. The breakfast is nice. It would be better if the location would be a bit closer to the center but you can't win with everything. 15 walk from the subway. Enjoy.

I will admit that originally I had a reservation for a different hotel in the Aventine area of Rome, but there was such terrible communication and bad customer service that I decided to book with a different hotel and chose Hotel Villa Pinciana. SO glad I stayed here instead! Not only was I treated with much more care, but it cost less than my other reservation.

The hotel is in a very quiet area of Rome, near the Borghese gardens, especially nice if you plan to visit Galleria Borghese (which I highly recommend). It cost about €30 to get there from the airport via taxi.

Sandrine greeted us and was incredibly friendly. While we freshened up in our room, she took the time to customize a map for us with Rome's sightseeing highlights, as well as transportation options. Everyone at the front desk desk was very helpful and spoke English well.

Our room happened to be quite large--a palace compared to everywhere else we stayed in Europe! I think we may have had a wheelchair-accessible room, which may explain its size. Decor was simple but classic, in shades of gold and some red. Beds were pretty comfy, and the bath offered some nice amenities. We did not try the fitness room or sauna, but we did enjoy the continental breakfast with pastries, fruit, meats and cheeses.

It was about a 10-15 min walk to the Barberini metro station, which took you along the Via Veneto. A nice walk, but if you walk around all day, that walk from the metro back to the hotel at the end of the evening is a beast! That would honestly be my only "complaint" about the hotel... I wish it was a little closer to a metro stop. But the positives far outweigh this.

I would absolutely recommend staying here. The customer service alone is a good reason. Rome is fairly easy to get around on foot, and being such a fascinating yet noisy city, Villa Pinciana makes a great retreat and a fantastic value.

Room Tip: If available, I would ask for the wheelchair accessible room on the first floor so you can have extr...

Stayed in June/ July for 4 nights. We were welcomed by Sandrine with a map, advice and a huge smile. The hotel is stylish and well placed near to the via Veneto. Air conditioned room was lovely, clean and quiet and breakfast was good. As other reviewers we really enjoyed the advice about local restaurants- try Ceasarina- a step back in time with great food and service. La Giarra is simple and has great fish. Also, for an early evening drink with a difference, Peluso is a wine shop with tables outside for a glass or two and only a minutes walk- perfect to try something new!
Location menas that you can walk to the Termini in 10- 15 minutes (tour buses etc) and the via Veneto takes you into the heart of Rome in again, 10- 15 minutes walk. A super place, recommended by www.bellaome.com

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights during our honeymoon - our first time in Italy - and it was fantastic. The concierge Magdalena (I think) was amazing when it came to providing recommndations for local restarants that were off the tourist track. Between these suggestions and highliighting what we "needed" to see - as well as the underground passage that got us to the Spanish Steps quickly and avoided the heat - the team at the hotel could not have been better. It made for a fantastic first Roman hotel experience.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in early June 2013. When the cab arrived at the entrance, it was the exactly what you would hope your hotel in Rome would look like. Classic elegance, a lovely building. Beautifully maintained gardens and patios. Located next door to a church. On a quiet street yet accessible to all the places we wanted to visit. And we had yet to step inside!

The interior is just a continuation of the beauty of the hotel. The marble floors and well appointed sitting room and breakfast room are so inviting. Again, elegant without being pretensious. Then, when we were checking in, Sandrine was taking care of our paperwork and announced we were upgraded to a suite compliments of the hotel. Really? Can this experience get any better?

It did. The suite was nothing short of amazing. We had a private terrace off the large bathroom and a private roof top patio with lounge chairs off the sitting room. We looked forward to going back to our hotel every evening. One day after 11 hours of touring we returned to our suite, poured a glass of wine and fell asleep on the patio for several hours. It was heavenly.

Sandrine and Magdalena were so helpful in assisting us with arrangements from dinner reservations to gallery tours. The gentleman ( whose name I cannot recall) was also very professional and accomodating. Every morning there is a delicious breakfast buffet, beautifully presented, with a variety of foods, juices, coffees and teas, all delicious and more than enough to get you through a morning of sightseeing.

Our trip to Rome was such a wonderful experience.. the art, the architecture, the food and the wine. Villa Pinciana was the icing on the cake. We have recommended this hotel to several friends and associates. We hope to return next year.

We have just had four days at the Hotel Villa Pinciana and found the hotel to be first class. The room was lovely and clean and the breakfast excellent. It is in a quiet area but with only a short pleasant walk to the centre. The staff were excellent. Recommend it rather than pay silly prices elsewhere.
