Food was pretty average (though my wife's gluten free pasta was very nice indeed - I should have had pasta not pizza). However the location, sat outside on a warm evening watching the bustle and surrounded by beautiful buildings, listening to the music of the buskers - that's why you pay double what you'd pay one street away. Think of it as renting prime real estate rather than the price of food and you'll be fine.
