It was our 10th wedding anniversary back in May 2010 when we (me and my wife) visited Rome. It was my 3rd time and it was her first to visit Italy. So I was looking for a place to stay that would be in the heart of the historic center of Rome, right next to everything with no need to take transportation. Well Condotti Inn was exactly what I was searching for. It looks a bit old from the outside, but dont let this small detail scare you. Inside the rooms are nice, quiet and very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpfull with well spoken English. Breakfast is a little poor but not bad. We had a great time and we would recoment this Hotel to anyone of our friends.

Loved staying here at Condotti Inn. The location is ideal, less than 5 mins walk from Piazza Navona and plenty of lovely restaurants within a couple hundred metres. We never used public transport the whole time we were in Rome, furthest walk is 30 mins to Colosseum.

The room itself is lovely, with nice decor, lots of nice cushions! The bathroom is very clean and modern, shower head has great water pressure (huge plus for me!)

Lots of small touches made our stay really great. The ladies are very lovely and helpful, Nadia provided a map on the first day and showed us where the attractions were. Free wifi, coffee/tea facilities, safe, nice soap. You have to go through 3 locked doors to get in so it's very secure. They also provided a mobile phone with credit in case of an emergency, which I thought was very sweet and thoughtful. The breakfast was mainly sweet biscuits (plus a tub of yummy yoghurt), which is a bit weird if you're used to toast and cereal.

All in all a great room with amazing value, would stay here again in a heartbeat. :)

I stayed 3 nights here with my bf for a 6 day Italy vacation (the last 3 nights were in Rome at this B&B). We stayed in room # 4 originally which was okay fair size for European standards, the last day we were asked to be moved to Room #2 because our room was big enough to fit another bed for a 3rd person for another family (I found that insane to be honest the rooms are NOT big enough for 3 people at all (maybe a baby thats it). So basically we got a downgrade..... The room we were moved to was right beside the reception/entrance door. VERY SMALL room and NOISY (i suggest to opt-out and pre-request another room). The breakfast I would give it 4/10 nothing was good except the Yogourt which I didn't eat my bf had. The rooms are clean like others suggested but the walls are thin we had a room the last night with kid(s) in it and it was horrible (I don't think children should be allowed there). If you want cheap water instead of paying 1-2Euros when u leave the entrance turn left your first little street there is a small shop (family shop) which only charges .50cents (that's the best in Rome you'll find. Other tips for Rome - for dining/restaurants make sure you find out prior if they charge service + cover charge otherwise you'll find an unpleasant bill after your meal.

Room Tip: Make sure you dont take the room #2 which is the first room when you walk in. Small + noisy room.

Our first trip to Rome was fantastic and lived up to all of our expectations. There really is now other city like it, its a magical place. The icing on the cake to top off a wonderful trip, was the fact that Condotti perfectly located within 10 minutes walking distance to all of the main attractions. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. And whatsmore the staff were incredibly nice. Mention must go to Nadia, the manager, who was an extremely nice and helpful host and she made us feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend staying at Condotti Inn and we will do again when we return to Rome..

Conveniently located close to ALL tourist attractions. We easily walked everywhere in more more than about 25minutes. Staff were friendly and went the extra mile to please or assist. Room was always clean and is well decorated. Giving travellers the cellphone to take with them during their stay is a lovely touch.

I have just come back from my first trip to rome, once we arrived by taxi to the hotel (best to take down the address and to give to driver as its hard to find in back streets of city centre) we were greeted by Nadia the hotel Manager she gave us a Map and explained where we were and also gave us the keys to the hotel main entrance, front door and our room key, as the reception is not open 24hrs its like going back home. The pictures of the hotel is exactly what it is like, the breakfast yogurt was nice but would recommend to get breakfast elsewhere.

The hotel is in the centre of the city, so close to the Spanish steps and the pantheon, we just walked around the streets until we were lost and we pretty much found everything. Nice B&B and area also, if you are looking for a luxury hotel then Rome isnt the place for you.

A wonderful choice for a bed and breakfast. Right in the centre of Rome (5 minutes from Piazza Navona), in a magical neighborhood. The position is as good as it gets. It was convenient during the night too, as it is positioned next to nicest places to eat and drink. We were even walking to go to the Trastevere.

The double room is big enough, since you don’t stay much in it. We were lucky enough to be given No 5 room which is a triple room, so we had more than enough space. It was simply and tastefully decorated. It was warm enough (since we visited Rome during December). There was one window (so sun was limited...but who cares!). The towels were changed every two days. The walls are a bit ... thin, so be careful because sound ... travels. I loved the dark wooden ceiling.

The rooms are in the second floor of a typical roman building but the steps are few and easy. I loved the fact that we had the keys for the building and every time we entered the house it was like I was returning home.

Only during the morning there is young lady preparing breakfast and cleaning the rooms.
The breakfast is maybe the only bad thing about the room. We preferred having espresso and a pizza from outside. Anyway the rooms are extremely clean and the lady very helpful.

They even offer you big umbrellas for the rainy days.

Price was decent enough (85 euro) for Rome.
Nevertheless I think 85 euro for a bed and breakfast is expensive and that is the only reason why I didn't graded this place for a 5/5.
