“Great location, nice hotel”
Reviewed 17 October 2013

Very nice hotel and very close to the central station. We were upgraded to a suite which was very spacious and the decor and furnishings were very nice.
There was a decent breakfast and there was a nice hotel bar which has a happy hour. If your planning on visiting the sites of rome then this is a good choice as the station is 2 mins walk.

Room Tip: Go for the suite if you can afford it, however its a fairly small suite but comes with a big bed and...

Pros: Hotel is listed as a 4 star hotel and it is a 4 star hotel in all the ways.
Cons: Breakfast Buffet-- limited variety and average food quality. No Complimentary WI FI/Internet for customers as is in most 4 star hotels
Location: Right in the heart of Rome 2 streets away from the Termini. Easy access to all tourist attractions by train, metro, bus. Shops, supermarkets, non-hotel internet stores across the street.
We spent 4 nights in Rome. Wonderful stay less than 50 yards from Termini Station. Termini also has a Super Market in the basement floor; good place to buy bottles of water, etc. Room cleanliness and confort definitely excellent, same rating goes for the staff. Good breakfast buffet; not extraordinary, but nice selection. If the price is competitive don't look for another hotel. This one has 4 stars and deserves every bIt of this rating.

Room Tip: HIgher floor rooms are quieter.

Loved being just 100m from the Termini rail station - made travel logistics so easy as we just used the train. Hotel is modern and rooms are really nicely finished - standard room wasn't big - but it was more than enough. Good breakfast buffet every morning and staff were helpful and friendly. Some reviews say the are around the station is not very nice - but we went out to restaurants in the evening and found the whole area was pretty ok - stick to the big well lit roads. We would definitely stay here again if in Rome.

Room Tip: Probably ask for a high floor (they have 6 floors) to minimize noise as there is a lot of nightlife...

Visited the end of sept, nice hotel in a great area we wandered around every evening till late and it was very safe. There are loads of pavement restaurants and we tried a different one every night all excellent. Only had breakfast in the hotel and it was good with plenty of choice. We only had the basic bedroom, small but had a great bathroom, would upgrade if we visited again as it was a bit pokey with no view. Hotel is in a great location for walking to the main tourist attractions and then getting the train to the vatican.

Spent 3 great nights at the Hotel Una, Rome, from 10th to 13th of October 2013. Allocated a room on the 5th floor, the room was spacious, well furnished, very clean and extremely quite. The only noise was the very occasional rumble of a tram. Had to request an extra pillow and also the use of an iron and ironing board but both were delivered about 10 mins after my call.

All the staff, reception, restaurant, housekeeping, were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the cost and served in a light airy dining room. Whilst the hotel was busy at the weekend, the staff were quick to clear and relay tables so that no one was left waiting more than a few minutes.

Ate in the restaurant on the Friday night and both my partner and I had a lovely meal. I had a cod dish and my partner had steak. Both were tasy and made of quality ingredients, lovely and well priced.

All in all a great hotel, close to the Termini station and within easy walking distance for all there is to see and do in Rome.

very close to termini station, nice hotel, kindness.
But be careful not to lose your belongings. If you have left your stuff behind, don't expect to take back. When I checked out and came back home, I found out I left my jacket in the closet. But I got an answer they didn't find it. In Swiss I left my umbrella in my hotel, but I received it without any problem. Be careful not to lose your belongings!

Una Hotel Roma is very conveniently located. It's an easy walk from Termini, the main train station, and is across the street from the office of the Green Line hop-on-hop-off bus office. Their stop is about two blocks away - and it's a cheaper way to get around the city to most of the sites. The staff at the hotel was very nice. We got there about 10 in the morning and the restaurant was closed. We went to the bar for coffee and the bartender managed to rustle up some very tasty omelets for us. By the time we finished eating, the registration desk had managed to get us into our rooms. There were 4 of us traveling (friends) and they gave us adjoining rooms with a connecting door, which was nice. The hotel was nice and clean and the rooms were fine. Even though our rooms looked out to the street, it was fairly quiet. The only downside I can think of is the missing free wifi. I stayed in Italy for 2 weeks and it was the only hotel that didn't offer it.
