Reglais 6 was a nice, comfortable place to stay during my family's vacation to Rome. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was safe and easy to walk around at all hours of the day/night. Breakfast was large and included a wonderful cup of coffee made to order, croissants with a variety of toppings, cold cuts and cheese, scrambled eggs, granola and cereal and a variety of fruits. The location was nice if you wanted a calm place to stay with easy access into central Rome. The 90 bus runs frequently and it is easy to take to the Termini Station to get into central Rome. We ate dinner around the hotel at a variety of very good (and affordable restaurants) including La Chiacchura, Pepe Verde, and San Marino.

We stayed at Relais 6 for my 30th birthday earlier this year and loved it. It was so nice to come back to such a peaceful setting at the end of a long day sightseeing. Our room was lovely and looked out over the courtyard at the back, and the bed was so comfy!
The staff were all very helpful but particularly Giacomo - before our stay he answered all our questions via email and when we were there he gave us lots of restaurant recommendations and advice for getting around Rome.
We will definitely be back if we visit Rome again!

This is the last hotel that we stayed in Europe. The room is much bigger than the hotels we stayed in Paris and Venice. Even if some said the location is a bit far from city center, but it was perfect for us as we rented a car and it was not difficult to find parking spots! The hotel can help you buy Roma pass, and they can also help you to sign up for guided city hours for extra cost. I participated in the guided tour, and it saved us at least 3 hours as we could skip the long long line. That would be a good option if you have limited time to explore the city.
The breakfast was wonderful, fresh and delicious. I will be staying there again if I visit Rome again.

If you look for a basic 3 star hotel that's what it actually is. The staff are helpful & kind but the rooms are very, very basic and breakfast with stale bread every single day plus cold scrambled eggs as the only 'warm' breakfast component. No variety whatsoever.

So for not demanding travellers who get 3 star rates just fine for those expecting good value for money somewhere close **** - a definite NO. Not even a single piece of carpet on the floor and tiny bathroom.

Stayed for long enough to see improvement happen at least in quality of breakfast but peculiar as it may sound was happy to be served fresh bread at restaurants in town before dinner which normally is not a great luxury if you know what I mean....

Relais 6 was a great hotel a short bus ride from the historic center of Rome. It is set in a tranquil neighborhood within walking distance of several restraunts. Breakfast was a buffet style. There was always plenty to eat and the staff were attentive. The cleanliness of the hotel generally was excellent. I don't have any negative comments of the hotel.

I recently spent two nights at the Relais 6 during a brief holiday/vacation in Rome. I chose the hotel because I enjoy staying outside of the city center when I travel -- I appreciate experiencing different neighborhoods, and I don't mind making an extra effort to use public transportation. Relais 6 is exactly the sort of hotel I like: relatively small, elegant, with many "extras" that are otherwise unaffordable when you stay in a more central (i.e. more expensive) location. I will admit that sometimes it was frustrating waiting for buses, which were crowded more often then not. But I knew that would be the case when booking the hotel, and for me the pros outweighed that particular con. We received recommendations for two restaurants from two members of the very kind and informed hotel staff, each within a 10-minute walk of the hotel -- a plus after a long day of exploring the city on our feet. Both of them (San Marino and Pepe Verde) were excellent, and filled with locals. I wish there had been extra pillows availalbe in the room for guests (like me) who prefer more support while sleeping; also, the wifi was often slow; but those are minor complaints. The Relais 6 was everything I wanted: comfortable, cute, interesting, good breakfast buffet, even free beverages in the minibar. I will recommend this hotel to friends who like to stay off the beaten path.
