The Apartments are much more than a hotel room. We are sure you will appreciate the generous accommodation.
The hosts were magnificent with nothing being too much trouble.
We shall be back.
What more can we add to the other reviews, nothing except they clearly reflect this little gem.

We stayed at the Aurelia Vatican Apartments from March 11-18. The apartment was fully and comfortably furnished, and had a charming little balcony overlooking the central court. Kate and Sam were unfailingly helpful in addressing any of our questions, and offering wonderful guidance on navigating Rome. Unlike many apartment rentals, the Aurelia includes housekeeping service to empty the garbage and freshen up towels as needed. The apartments are secure and well cared for. Also, there is a washer dryer on the premises, which is an assist for longer stays

. A local bus 495 stops virtually outside of the complex with stops at such landmarks as the Piazza del Popolo and Borghese and Tiburtino. The closest Rome Metros and Regional train is a 15 minute walk, grocery store about a 7 minute walk, but the 495 bus stops right in front of it, if you have a lot to carry.. ( We also found that the local 492 bus, which leaves from the nearby Cipro Metro Station takes you throughout the heart of Rome to locations such as Piazza Navona, the Capitoline Museum and nearby Trastevere.

Although the apartment is only about a mile from the Vatican,,, the area borders on the rural....we saw sheep and goats grazing above a hill as we'd walk back to the apartment from the Metro in the evening. We would definitely recommend the Aurelia.

Room Tip: We were above the ground level, and would recommend this.

My wife and I stayed at the Aurelia Vatican Apartments from August 14th through the 18th during our two week honeymoon in Italy. This is an oasis in a kind of shabby part of town but perfectly situated for metro site-seeing. We stayed in the top floor outside balcony apartment and loved it! Evenings spent on the balcony drinking wine we bought in Orvieto. Free parking is a huge plus. Orientation by the hosts and support was above and beyond. I left our visa's in the apartment safe when we checked out and called from Pisa. They were incredibly helpful, offered to send them overnight, secured our visa's and stayed open for me to pick up late (yes I drove back). Internet and air conditioning worked perfectly. Management had all the best recommendations and help with bus/metro travel. Will definately stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return to Rome.

Room Tip: we stayed in the top floor external balcony apartment and loved it.

First of all, the biggest payoff of staying here is the great service by Kate and Sam. They were always available and showed great patience and knowledge in providing touristic assistance. They made touring Rome simple with their preprinted guide to the rooms, recommended restaurants (nearby and adjacent to sites), suggested itineraries, and transportation information.
As my luggage was left behind in the US by United Airlines, I was grateful to Kate who diligently followed up every day to determine the status of my bag.

We selected the one bedroom apt and were very happy with it. Cooking our own breakfast was important. The rooms were comfortable, quiet, and clean. The balcony with seating was a plus as we found ourselves out there several times (Yes, in December). There is an automated machine near the office that makes great espresso (not free).
The Metro station sits at the top of the hill from the apartments. A bus stops nearly outside the apartment complex. We walked to Vatican City the first day we arrived as it is quite close. We felt very safe in this neighborhood.
Highly recommended for folks who want the comforts of home with the benefits of a hotel concierge.

Room Tip: The upper floors may have a better view. If we come back in a warmer climate, we might request an apartment with the extra-large patio.

Easy access, free parking, large rooms in outstanding condition. Very helpful staff who gave us many tips on how to enjoy Rome and its many sights. Great value. Lovely aircon and quiet location. Bus at the door. Stand alone shower and all the usual bathroom amenities. room serviced daily.

Room Tip: There is no lift but not too many stairs.
