Booked this hotel for a surprise birthday present for my boyfriend. Stayed two nights bed and breakfast. Spent ages reading reviews of hotels in Rome as many said that hotels in the centre of Rome were noisy and small. This was far from it. Beautiful hotel in a quiet residential area around 20 minutes walk from centre of Rome. Room was immaculate, spacious and bed was really comfortable. Julia on the reception desk was very warm, welcoming and very helpful. Gave us a map and showed us where local restaurants were (some really good ones only a 10 min walk) and how to get into the centre of Rome. We chose to walk into Rome to see the sights and returned to the hotel by train (from the Colosseum to the main train station - Termini) and bus from Termini (the number 360 stops a 1 min walk from the hotel).
Breakfast was delicious and plenty to chose from, although no cooked breakfast for those who want one! I wasn't fussed!
Ensuite bathroom was clean and spacious (except when first walking into bathroom, the sink is right by the door but once the door was shut, there was plenty of room). There was also an electric black out blind which was great as woke up after 9:30am on both days as had no idea the sun had risen (normally an early riser thanks to a 2 year old son!). Overall would definitely recommend this hotel to those who don't mind a walk (the Villa Borghese park is only 10 mins walk and is stunning!) and want a quiet night sleep.More
