My wife and I arrived for our honeymoon and were greeted by Tiger at the front desk. Super nice guy who was extremely helpful in showing us where to go and what sites to see. When asked for food suggestions he provided Come il Latte which is the best gelato spot in Rome and Santa Cristina for dinner which is an incredible restaurant. The place was very comfortable and we didn't feel squeezed at all. The hotel is literally a block away from the Trevi Fountain and the furthest place was the Vatican which is only a 40 min walk. Loved the hotel and it's where I would stay on any future trip to Rome

The location of the hotel is perfect!
Staff is very helpful, knowledgable and very welcoming.
The comfortable large room was very clean and breakfast was served every morning,
as we have ordered the night before.
The 3 nights stay in Rome felt like being at home.
We' ll be back:).

We stayed at relais trevi 41 in march 2014 and it was a brilliant find. The location is great, we walked everywhere! The rooms are a good size and very clean. Breakfast was okay, room service every morning was a lovely treat. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

We did walk here from the termini which was 20 mins (approx). The walk was okay but the area around the termini is not so nice and would recommend getting a taxi from the termini to the hotel or getting the metro.

The staff were very helpful and the reception is open 24 hours. They recommended an amazing gelateria (come il latte) which is about a 15 -20 min walk and definitely worth it!

This hotel is in the perfect location right in the centre of Rome, it is literally steps from the Trevi Fountain and a couple of minute's walk to the Pantheon & Piazza Navona. All of the other main sights are within easy walking distance & there are tonnes of amazing restaurants all around. It has everything you need, the rooms are much more spacious than other hotels we have stayed at in the city & the beds are really comfortable. Tea & coffee making facilities are provided as well as a fridge that they put bottles of water in for your arrival. The staff were really friendly & helpful, we didn't need anything during our stay so we didn't really see them but when checking in & out they were great. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Rome, we can't recommend it enough!

It was my first time in Rome, and it was very importan for me to have a great location. The location of this hotel is perfection. It's in the middle and close to everything. I walked and didnt take the bus or train once, only taxi twice. It was a trip for 5 nights... The rooms are super clean and the beds are so comfy! The staff were so pleasant and made me feel safe. Offered their help genorously. The only minus would be that the breakfast had no variety. If only it was something different everyday i wouldnt get bored of eating the same things. IF YOURE ASKING ME IF I RECOMMEND IT, ID SAY DEFINETELY YES! Perfect location, clean, comfy, fresh. Made Rome even better.
Vivien.

My husband and I booked four nights here as the ending leg of our honeymoon in Italy. Prior to booking, we tirelessly researched what part of Rome is the “best” part to stay in. Based on research, we decided that being close to the Trevi Fountain was the way to go. The Relais Trevi 41 is almost directly between the Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona so everything was walking distance which was the way we wanted to see Rome.

Upon arriving at the main train station in Rome, we hopped on the Subway with our HUGE suitcases and trekked over to the hotel. We didn’t mind it much as it just added to the adventure but if you’re looking for a more relaxing way to get to the hotel; I would suggest a taxi or something of that sort.

We found the hotel, which is located directly next door to the San Crispino gelato place on a small side street. The concierge is located downstairs in the same building as the hotel. We found this a bit peculiar. All of our worries subsided when we met the friendly staff and they escorted us to our room on the third floor without hesitation.

Like most buildings in Rome (and Italy in general), the hotel is located in an older building that is far from “modern” (but hey you’re going to Rome, right?). Our room (which was the most basic room that the hotel offered) was on the smaller side and again far from what most people would consider plush and modern. The bathroom was on the pretty small and without a bath. The room had an adjacent balcony that looked into an interior corridor. It was kind of strange and we never used it. However, with that being said, we loved the hotel and would fully recommend it. It felt clean, the location can’t be beat (the Trevi Fountain is literally right next door), and the breakfast in bed every morning was fabulous. Before you go to bed and night you leave a ticket on your door to let the staff know what you would like and at what time. The breakfast always arrived right on time from a smiling staff member.

We were very skeptical about the Relais Trevi 41 because it was more of a boutique hotel and didn’t offer all of the amenities that larger hotels have to offer. Don’t book this hotel if you’re looking for super luxurious accommodations. If you want a clean place to sleep, with a great staff, in the thick of it all at an unbeatable price, this is the way to go! We were honeymooners and would book it again in a heartbeat.

As far as location, we would stay either near the Trevi Fountain again or near Piazza Navona for those of you in a similar predicament researching where to stay in Rome. Piazza Navona is somewhat more “quaint” and a bit more removed while Trevi Fountain is directly in the middle of it all. You’re still able to get peace and quiet at the hotel though!

Room Tip: Ask for a lower floor if you don't want to trek up and down stair every time you leave and retur...

We arrived late at night and had booked two superior rooms. In one room the toilet had not been flushed properly and we were told to change rooms. We changed rooms and were disturbed by the traffic in the morning and had no hot water in the shower. We were then moved to another room which was quieter but there was still clearly a problem with the water in the shower turning cold. This happened in both of our rooms. The location was fantastic. The wifi was very bad kept dropping out.
