“A 3 star room in a great location”
Reviewed 5 February 2014

This room was a real surprise. It would certainly qualify as a 3 star if it was in a hotel, spotless, well fitted, beautiful bathroom, wifi was good. And the price was excellent, we arrived out of season and got a very good deal (Euro 50) considering many websites were warning of high prices in Rome.

We stayed 5 nights and only saw the owner (?) when we checked in and just before we left. We were given a supply of breakfast items (cakes, pastries, juice, tea bags) which was adequate and there is a capsule coffee machine in the entry hall.

Was surprised at the size of the room, not huge but certainly not as small as some I have stayed in London, Paris etc. Room was cleaned daily and towels are changed when you leave on the floor.

Wouldnt recommend any of the restaurants nearby as the B&B is close to the Termini station and is obviously very much a tourist area. Restaurants seem to hassle everyone walking past and serve the traditional tourist fare. Take a walk 10 minutes towards Trevi into the Quirinal area, just before Via Nazionale.

Room Tip: Book this B&B!!!

the best selling point of this hotel is the location. Since the hotel is just a few steps away from roma termini, you can reach the tourist attractions conveniently. also, the owner is very accommodating and eager to answer all queries of the guests. the room is equipped with the basic amenities and more. will definitely stay in this hotel again.

Just a few minutes walk from Rome Termini and Metro. Convenient and secured location. There are multiple restaurants and a grocery store downstairs where it is easy for traveler to get anything they need. The room is nicely renovated. Very impressive to have hair dryer and water pot for boiling hot water. The owner is very nice and helpful. A very pleasant stay in Rome!

This was our first time in Rome and we had choosen the Flowerome based on reviews. Not disapointed at all and it was such a pleasure to deal with Andrea who made contact prior to our arrival by email with simple directions and met us at agreed time which was earlier than advertised check in but he stored our bags so we could go sight seeing. He was also most helpful in giving us recommendations and available to answer any questions. Makes such a big difference to experience this friendly and helpful approach. Thank you Andrea.
Room was clean and facilities good with a service each day although towels not replaced. We stayed in the middle of the three rooms.
At first the area/location appears a little dawnting but there are plenty of places to eat and you are 1 minute from Termini and we felt quite safe in the streets around Flowerome.
Would recommend for stay in Rome.

Overall:The location of the this place was fantastic. You are near the Terminal Station, you have eating places just below your unit.

Room: The room is not big, but acceptable in size. There is a free lavazza coffee machine with capsules provided just outside the door. A compact place, but very functional.

Service: The operator of the place is friendly.

Breakfast: Your breakfast is a bunch of pre-packed (i.e. in plastic packaging) pastries and breads, with instant coffee - simple food fare but acceptable for us.

Location: We loved the location - it served our purpose well as a launch point to the rest of the city.

Noise: The place is surprisingly quite quiet at night, which is a plus, since it faces a quieter street Via Filippo Turati.

Luggages: For those with bulky luggages, fear not! There is an old-school elevator that is operating, and would be able to send you up and down the floors. The floor area of the elevator is fit for two luggages and standing room for 1 person. It's cramped, but it works!

Food Nearby: If you want some decent Italian food, do ask the gentleman operating the place for recommendations! If you fancy chinese food, there is one very nearby facing the Terminal, and the food is very good, by our standards :)

The room was very clean and it was in a great location, right by the termini. The room and bathroom were probably the nicest one's out of all our hotels in Italy. The hotel doesn't have a huge sign so you have to just look at the buzz and it'll say the name on it. Honestly, we don't really have any complaints about Flowerome. I would definitely recommend it!
