“Beautiful stay in Rome”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

We found Adele Emme's B&B by sheer luck. We arrived in Rome without reservations. After checking out 4 Motels, we found ourselves without a place to stay. A nice gentlemen at one of the Motels called Adele to see if she could accommodate us. This was our first time staying in a Bed & Breakfast. We were welcomed by Adele and her beautiful dog, Wendy (who is very well behaved!). The building in which the B&B is located is an old castle which has been converted into condos, it's a gorgeous building. Adele's B&B is on the first level. Our room was large, bright and very clean with 12 foot ceilings. The washroom was new and modern. Adele was extremely helpful. She provided us with direction to the bus & tram which are accessible only a few blocks away. There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Go ahead, do not hesitate to book this B&B... you will not regret it.

We spent five nights in Rome over Easter and were very lucky to find Adele's B&B. It is located outside of the busy center of Rome but is an easy commute or walk to the major sights. The area has a neighborhood feel with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The center of the city was teeming with visitors while we were there but Adele Emme B&B was a quiet and pleasant oasis to return to after a long day of sightseeing. Adele (and her dog Wendy) were perfect hosts and made us feel right at home. She was always available and ready to provide help or advice for our travels. The rooms were large and very clean. If you are looking for an alternative to a hotel stay in downtown Rome I enthusiastically recommend Adele Emme B&B. Thanks Adele for a memorable stay!

My grandfather and I went on a 10-day Italian adventure, with Adele's B&B as our first stop in Rome. We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the country! Adele is a wonderful hostess and her B&B is in the perfect location for those wanting to walk around and truly explore the city in its modern life.

Adele's is very close to the bus stop, tram rail, and only 15 minutes from Termini Station; however we preferred to walk everywhere - including all the way to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Vatican City. Avoid the tourist-trap restaurants, there were plenty of excellent eats nearby which were mostly local's spots, and the waitstaff almost everywhere speaks common English.

The room itself was very clean and Adele was able to comfortably accommodate us with two beds. Breakfast in the morning was a delightful experience, having the opportunity to interact with other guests from different parts of the world. She serves a traditional Italian breakfast of an assortment of breads, cereals, coffee, juice, and yogurt. There is also a supermarket very close by, as well as a bakery across the street if you should desire something different.

As an American in a foreign country, I felt incredibly well-cared for and at home. I highly recommend Adele's to anyone looking to make a visit to Rome!

Thank you for the wonderful hospitality, Adele! I hope we'll meet again one day :)

We spent in Rome four days as long weekend in the beginning of April. We planned to stay in Adeles B&B for all the three nights but we had to re-plan the accommodation as we were hit by the Lufthansa pilot strike. Therefore we postponed the trip for one day and we didn't have the availability for that one night in Adeles' place. But then we faced the excellent service and hospitality as she (Adele) found for us the replacement room in the hotel close to her place. She went there by herself and made reservation. She is really nice and helpful.
The B&B itself is very nice and cute. It is clean and lovely with nice breakfast and good Italian coffee. So we were really happy and grateful. We recommend the place in full confidence.

My husband and I just returned from a nine-day stay at Adele Emme's wonderful B and B! Very well situated in Rome near bus routes and trams that take you directly to the center of Rome, Adele's is located away from all the busy, touristy spots so that you'll have the experience of staying in a real Roman neighborhood. With restaurants and shops close by, the area is perfect for just walking around (be sure to see the beautiful Mincio Fountain very close by). And the best part of the stay is Adele, who will provide you with breakfast, maps, information, and reservations (in English or Italian)-anything you need. She is friendly and charming and is very happy to help you in an way she can. Second only to Adele are the rooms, which are bright, very well decorated and absolutely, spotlessly clean! If my husband and I are lucky enough to return to Rome, we will definitely stay here; you can't go wrong!

We stayed at Adele's B&B for 4 nights in late September. When I first looked at Adele's B&B on tripadvisor and read the reviews it sounded like the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our 30th anniversary. I was looking for a place that would give us more of a true neighborhood feel, but still have easy access to all the wonderful sights of Rome. Well, I can honestly say that Adele's B&B was the perfect choice and made my first trip to Rome and our anniversary a wonderful experience full of great memories.

From the moment we arrived at the B&B, Adele and Wendy(her "blonde" lab) made us feel like we were part of the family. Since this was my first trip to Rome, I was concerned about getting around to all the sights. However, Adele was always there to provide information and recommendations to nearby sights and restaurants. The bus and tram stations are just a short walk and connect you to anywhere in the city. There are two large parks Villa Borghese and Villa Ada within walking distance. The grounds of the B&B(especially the garden) make you feel like you are in your own "little oasis". The rooms are all very spacious and well decorated. We had a very comfortable full size queen bed and still had plenty of space.

Adele really shares her love for Rome with everyone who stays at her B&B. She goes out of her way to make sure you are enjoying your stay to it's fullest. You can tell that is not just a job for Adele - this is her passion. We have two new great friends in Rome - Adele and Wendy. If you are looking for a great location with a warm and inviting host while you are in Rome, I highly recommend Adele Emme B&B!
