“Fantastic value in a pricey area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 June 2013 via mobile

Brilliant service and gorgeous food, clealy the busiest restaurant on the street which always says something! Only 1 street back from the main Piazza where food is ludicrously over-priced, the pizza's are around 9 euro's which is akin to local pricing and the pasta dishes were so generous and similarly priced. The waiting team were friendly, helpful and made personal reccomendations from the menu which was lovely. The only sticking point was getting the bill as they seem to not want you to leave! Victims of their own success in this as it was the only place people seemed to want to eat in. It's a must for anyone heading to Piazza Navona

“do not miss it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2013

For excellent food cooked by skilled chefs, friendly and well-trained employees but not the least for the two hosts Giulia and Ibi I recommend the place.
Note: they do not use the microwave for cooking (like many other restaurants in Rome), they cook pizza and focaccia (and others) in the wood oven
Desserts are cooked by them (as in fact a part of the dishes) using own recipes (of the two sisters who own the restaurant).
The restaurant is always full while the others are empty ... that says a lot ... do not miss it

“Eat at Ponte Parione”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2013

It's the best restaurant in Rome. After we ate at several restaurants in Rome, I accidentally arrived at Ponte Parione. Since that time our holiday was fabulous gastronomic point of view. A lot of Italian cuisine, along with well-known bisteca and lasagne, made us really feel the spirit of Rome. Besides the delicious food I met an exceptional personnel. Ibi and her sister, their mother, Pipo, Daniel and some neighbors who have made us feel great. So if you go to Rome and not eat at Ponte Parione is like you have not visited the Colosseum and the Vatican.

“Wonderful food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2013 via mobile

Had dinner with six others kast evening, and everything from the starters to the unexpected closing glasses of limoncello made this a memorable evening. Three of us had the specials of the height--spaghetti with truffles, a meat dish, and whitefish, and all were truly special. A couple next to us told us that it was their third night there! You won't be disappointed!

“atmospheric”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 June 2013

Service, food and personnel first-rate. And we were treated to a glass of meloncello; the fish of the day was superb but we should have asked the price first. meal was on the pricey side but we didn't regret the expense. I liked watching the staff working together and how they coped with a very full restaurant. they must have truned four groups away so you can see it is very popular, both with th elocals and tourists.
