This Was Our First trip to Both Italy and Rome, and are so pleased with our stay at this B and B. The room looks just like the picture, only better [Classical room from the website] it's very clean, quiet, safe, with Simple But Elegant furnishings That Are comfortable-you do not feel That you are in someone's home, But You Also Do Not Feel That You Are in a sterile hotel room, either.
The hosts are available If You Need Them, But They Are not 'around 24 / 7' ... we saw at breakfast and Them That was it. We asked for what we needed at That Time, Such as extra towels, etc. .. For us, this is the best kind of place to stay, But if you are someone who wants a front desk person outside your door, this Might not be your choice. That Said, They Do Have a phone, and I am sure it is easy enough to get what you need at anytime.
Would not that you really need anything. There are great local cafes interspersed with tourist places, all over the neighborhood. But the B and B Building Itself is on a quiet side street, just a 5 or 10 min walk to St Peter's square at most. In Our trip later We stayed in the center of Rome in a brand name for hotels and much mor emoney-It Was not Nearly as pleasant.
I preferred staying close to St Peter's, as the atmosphere is mellower, quieter, more beautiful, and yet you are still close to city center by foot or bus.
But train and, btw, are just around the corner from this place, A Few minutes walk on foot.
We Had Our 9 yr old with us, and he Also loved staying here.
Breakfast is lovely, basic but very nice [though if you want protein like meats or cheese, head to a nearby cafe] ... Our coffee made by the hosts Delicioso WAS !!!!!
Really, everything was wonderful. Bedding comfortable, very clean, modern / new.
The only suggestion i would make is to Have Self-service tea available into the lobby, along with a water dispener. I Would Have liked to make tea or coffee prior to Have breakfast [i know this is an American thing-but on vacation, To Be Able To Have hot coffee without leaving one's hotel room, or relaxing!]
Also, the walls are a bit thin-we Could hear next door snoring.
No mind, we loved our stay tthere so much, That We Did not even care. (: But If You Are One Who Would Have a problem with this, just mentioning.
For Rome, we thought this was amazing value! They stay there before Develop a waiting list like other great places in Rome!
