One can't be disappointed with many aspects at this restaurant. The service, the food and the wine and beer were very good. There were six of us and we had dinner here a couple of nights. The bill came to around 250 euros which I personally thought was a bit pricey - though I suppose you pay for quality. We would recommend visiting the Cecio - take enough money !!

“Brilliant pasta meal - friendly staff”
Reviewed 12 April 2014

We got recommended Cecio by the hotel. It isn't situated in the best area but the food was lovely and the staff friendly and lively. We had a seafood salad starter then shared 2 different Rigatoni pasta dishes which were excellent . Finished off by Tiramasu

Would definitely recommend it

“Big thumbs up ”
Reviewed 4 April 2014 via mobile

My partner and I found this restaurant on trip advisor, luckily a 2 minute walk from our hotel. A small cozy restaurant with no waiters trying to drag us in at the door! We were greeted immediately on arrival and although we didn't have a reservation they kindly accommodated us. ( the place was full)
We ordered the house white wine which was great and the cecio antipasti dish to start which we shared- highly recommended. The waiter was very efficient and made us laugh and we felt very welcome. We noticed there was a nice mix of locals and tourists dining. We both ordered pasta dishes for our mains which were delicious and our bread basket was quickly refilled. Our bill came to around 60euros and was well worth every penny.

“definately eat here”
Reviewed 29 March 2014

Did not have reservations, but they found a place for us to sit. Food and staff were very nice. Ordered a brunello di montalcino wine--the staff said they had some corked bottles from their supply and upgraded our bottle for no additional charge. Food is very good with a wide selection of wines too.

“Nice atmosphere, food reasonable”
Reviewed 21 March 2014 via mobile

Service mostly very friendly. The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere. However, food was mediocre at best. Grilled veggies lacked flavour and the bacon in the pasta carbonara was still covered in fat. The capuccino was the worst one I had in Rome. Fortunately, the manager wanted a new change and made anotherone himself. This one was a lot better.
