Stefano was the very best host imagineable! We arrived in Rome very early and reached My Guest Roma around 10 a.m. He not only agreed to hold our luggage for us, he fed us an additional breakfast and then spent at least 30 minutes with us going over the map, telling us places to eat and what we should see during our brief stay with him before our regularly scheduled tour was to start at 4 p.m. the next day. We had found him based on reviews from Trip Advisor, and they were right on! We stayed in the quad room, and there was a small kitchen/lounge available for our use, and as the top floor was unoccupied for the night, we had the bathroom all to ourselves. There was a small balcony and air conditioning! A lovely place to retire to early that evening since we were fighting jetlag. We only wished we could have stayed with him the rest of our time in Rome instead of transferring to our tour hotel! Can't say enough good things about him or his establishment!

In a quest to enjoy a budget vacation with my boyfriend , I felt compelled to search for an accomodation that would not face the Vatican dome but would still allow us to fully enjoy our short visit. My Guest Roma BB turned the best choice we made in our trip. It is located in a central residential neighbourhood. 20 minutes walk to Macro and Borghese Gallery (we loved both those collections! ) We were 15 minutes ride to Colosseum, Roman Forum, Spanish steps, ect. My Guest Roma is a clean homey guesthouse I would recommend to anyone who searches for an authentic – off the beaten track experience of Rome. The rooms are brand new and perfectly cleaned everyday. Amenities-wise, there is a mini-fridge, a coffee maker and complimentary Wi-Fi. Breakfast was included and was incredibly rich for a continental menu. They had a gluten free option and I found it pretty impressive for such a small lodging. All in all a great place to stay at

This B&B was the best place we stayed in our month long trip to Italy. Stefano is passionate about providing a clean, comfortable and wonderful overall experience for his guests. It shows in everything he does. It is also very convenient to get around to everywhere you might need to go.

A one-man operation, assisted online by his sister. Both are fluent in English and very responsive to inquiries. Before and during our stay, we were offered help and suggestions for ground transportation and tickets to local attractions. Our room was small but attractive and up-to-date; it even had a small fridge. Breakfast was excellent (in a tiny room that encourages dialogue with other guests). We were informed in advance that payment is cash only, but in the end this was not an inconvenience, as there's an ATM next door.

If you're comfortable riding the Metro, the location is fine, three stops from Termini Station. We ate in the neighborhood twice and did not exhaust the possibilities. There is a 10-15 minute walk from the Bologna metro stop to the B&B (be sure to take the underground exit marked Viale XXI Aprile, as there are about six directions you could go when leaving the station). It is also served by city buses that run along Via Nomentana, but we found these to be slow and crowded on the one occasion we used them. TIP: from Fiumicino airport you can take the regional train FR1 that connects to the Metro B line at Tiburtina; it is only 8 Euro. Being three of us with luggage, we took instead a private shuttle arranged by My Guest Roma, but we used the Tiburtina connection later from an inbound Regionale train, and it worked fine.
