This is a wonderful boutique hotel right in the heart of Rome. The rooms are modern and tastefully decorated with all the modern conveniences in a historic setting. The service is professional, the staff are warm and helpful. Breakfast is served either in your bedroom or a cosy living room on the first floor. The whole feel is elegant and tranquil, yet you are on the doorstep of the hustle and bustle of Rome. I would recommend the Babuino without any hesitation.

Although this hotel has outstanding service, great breakfast and it is very clean the main atractive is the excellent location near major atractions and the metro, they will go out of their way to help you if you need; I would highly recomend it. Enjoy.

Stay nowhere else in Rome. My family stayed here for 10 great nights in two rooms from January 2 to 12th. Chose hotel based on reviews and we were not sorry. Restaurants are everywhere and the staff will make recommendations and reservations for you, just ask. Very convenient to shopping in Spanish steps area, and yet walkable to the Vatican if you choose. Coliseum probably a bit too far. Nice thing is you are next to Piazza di Popolo which is a major taxi stand so getting to and from hotel area is easy. Rooms in the hotel are very comfortable. Yes there is street noise for those who overlook Via Babunio, but between 9pm and 7am it is pretty quiet, no problem sleeping. Nice to watch the street life in the morning on via Babuino. Courtyard rooms are completely quiet. Breakfasts are served in your room, which is nice because you can take your time getting ready while eating. The staff is happy to adjust your breakfast food selections to your needs (I asked for more oranges and I think they must have been picking them off the trees every morning…wow). Just to mention the Sky TV, since my son figured this out toward the end of our stay. There is a button on the controller that allows to you view the US programs in English rather than Italian). My sincere thanks to all the staff that made it a great visit for my wife and two boys. We hope to return very soon to a great hotel and town.

We looked into several hotels to stay at when we made the decision to go to Rome. We had read the reviews and decided that this was the one, and we clearly made the right decision.

We stayed at 6 hotels in total on this trip which included 2 x Sofitel’s, Westin, Le Meridian, and a Four Seasons. This hotel was hands down the best value. The free Wi-Fi, the location, the breakfast, the minibar were all terrific. Many hotels take advantage of its customers by ripping them off with charging 80-100 euros for breakfast, 10 euros for a coffee and 20-25 euros for internet access for a day.

My partner was unfortunately sick for one of the 3 days and the staff there was very caring and checked in constantly to make sure she was ok and if we needed anything.

On departure they were kindly removed any minibar purchases from our bill as they were genuinely upset for my partner that she had to waste a day in Rome being in bed. It wasn’t even their fault either!!

The reception staff were very good and knew all the best places to eat, and not the most expensive restaurants like every other hotel seemed to recommend!!!

The room was fantastic and location was right in the middle of all the action. Couldn’t have asked for a place to stay.

I would certainly recommend this small hotel to anyone visiting Rome. It was great!!!

We stayed over Christmas week, family of 4 (kids 10 & 20yrs old) and had excellent time. Two connecting suites really made life easier. Staff assisted very well with all our needs, requests. Location is premier. Rooms on the courtyard are absolutely quite, those on street facing can be louder, but are more interesting since windows open and you can partake of the lively streetlife.

What a nice place! Conveniently located between the Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish steps. The staff was entirely friendly and did every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They helped us find some special places for shopping and dining. The breakfast in the room was good, fresh products and a good variety of choices. The room itself was very nice. Spacious, luxurous and clean. We really enjoyed our visit!

We were extremely happy with the room, service and location and would recommend the hotel to all our friends. The only recommendation we would give to the hotel is to encourage their concierges to be more forthcoming with tourist and sightseeing related information and arrangements. This includes information on which tourist guides to use for the vatican city, where to book tickets for the collosseum to avoid queues and which restaurants to go to.
