We recently stayed in the IQ Hotel and it was perfect. Great room, great location and very reasonable prices in the self-sevice chillers. Would definately return.

Room Tip: Room 120 overlooks the square

I recently returned from a trip to Rome, having stayed 3 nights at the iQ Roma Hotel in a triple room. The service was really exceptional as we were greeted with warm smiles and offered assistance with dining, taxi service and sightseeing opportunities. Our triple room was very spacious, modern and quiet. It was centrally located next to the Opera House and within a short 3 block walk to the Termini station so getting around on foot from the hotel was quite easy. This was my second trip to Rome in 2 years and I have stayed at or visited a number of different establishments and would certainly recommend the iQ Roma Hotel!

Room Tip: The triple rooms are extremely spacious. Higher floor rooms are very quiet.

Loved this hotel! Scrupulously clean, modern and a great location (on a quiet street but nearby to the main train station and in walking distance to a few sights like the trevi fountain and spanish steps).
Bathroom was really nice and had a lovely big bath and really good shower. Room has a mini fridge for storing any snacks! Bed was a bit hard but still slept well.
Staff were all polite.
The hotel has vending machines that stock cans and bottles of water for a good price (50 cents for water-compare to 2 Euros from some street vendors!) -Tho my tip would be buy a couple of bottles of water then refill at the many public water fountains around the city!

Also there is a vending machine for alcohol, and a free ice machine, for if you fancy a drink on the roof garden!

Would definitely recommend this hotel, and would use it again.

stayed here for 6 nights with a group of friends. this is a hotel in pretty great condition, with all ur modern needs (wi-fi for free) and even a self serviced laundry ( 3 euro for each cycle, + gym and sauna as well. the rooms are reasonably priced and the toilets in good condition. the hotel is within walking distances to central station (rome termini) and other main attractions around rome (even the vatican, but this is a very long walk). didnt try their breakfast, given so many options nearby. in particular, down the road on via nazionale, the place is called teatro opera, great coffee and sandwiches (tremezzino). perhaps a point that is well pushed forward previously, if u want to go cheap for ur coffee, do not take a table/seats. stand up like the locals! would come back to stay here at the hotel again!

addit: most of the hotel staff was very helpful and nice, except one who was a bit short and needs to learn to be more hospitable. perhaps he needs to continue on his training a bit more.

We stayed here for 5 days in Aug-Sept 2011 and thought it was a great value and great location. We loved the proximity to the metro (although due to another subway line being built, the metro is only open until 9pm except Sat., something I didnt read anywhere in all my reasearch before going) The nearest Palazzo it is near- Republica is very beautiful when lit up at night, a great place to get a bottle of wine and people watch! The hotel is very clean and modern. The vending machines and rooftop terrace are very nice, and the front desk is helpful. They have one wahsing machine and one dryer, but we found it diffucult to use becasue other guests would leave their items there, skip ahead etc. Not the hotels fault but plan accordingly if you plan to use it. Also no irons in the room, only one to use in the laundry room. Overall a very good place to stay in Rome.

even i have been in rome many times its not easy to find new hotels with normal rates in a good location ,old properties many but new ones few
with that in mind i loved this hotel we got a very large king bed room with street view but not noisy at all
location is far away from restaurants ,sites and action but if you need to be near termini station its perfect ,we were here one night and then rented a car from termini station so choice of location made sence for us
breakfast included was also great
walking time to trevi fountain its at least 20 minutes through a unglamour tunnel you can cut this time

My husband and I are staying at our last of 3 nights in Rome ath the iQ Hotel. I read a *lot* of reviews/looked at a lot of sites before booking this one. This is not our first trip to Rome, but it has been a decade since we were here last. That said - I'm a spoiled American, and it always takes me aback when in Europe how much less they get for so much more money. That said - this hotel is *very* clean and new - a big positive. The staff is friendly and helpful - another great positive. The rooms are tiny (like most Roman hotel rooms). But - for the price (I think around 300/night with all the myriad taxes) - it's not any better than a La Quinta back home. I'm not being sarcastic. I'm a fan of La Quinta for the same reasons - clean, comfortable, solid service. The location was decent - not great. Short walking distance to the metro - longer walking distance to any good sites (Trevi Fountain). Would I recommend it? sure. Again - *very* clean/great service. Would I stay here again? probably not - it lacked charm and no views. The rooftop terrace was okay - lacked charm. The same way I wouldn't recommend a tourist new too the states staying at a La Quinta - this is more for the serious traveler just looking for clean and comfortable - not necessarily any charm.

Room Tip: None of the rooms would be likely any different from one another.
