The hotel was small, good location close to subway and train station. Staff was nice, rooms very clean and spacious. Several good restaurants around, just don't ask the front desk to recommend one because they'll send you to a very bad one (can't remember the name but it was a "trattoria").

This is a great find located one block from the Termini Station and convenient to subway. Accomodations were clean, bathroom was above average. Staff was friendly and helpful. Perfect for a couple for family. Nice laundry room and great vending machines available. Don't miss this one!

I decided to stay at iQ based on reviews from TA and it did not disappoint. I arrived via train and iQ is within a 10 minute walk from the train station. Check-in was easy and we were given a nice room on the 3rd floor overlooking the street. The hotel is within walking distance of most of the touristy places and the subway/bus to Vatican City. The strange thing about the hotel is that there's no refrigerator in the room and the vending machines are on every other floor (2,4,6 etc). The complimentary buffet breakfast exceeded my expectations. This hotel doesn't scream the intense culture Rome exudes so I would probably try another hotel next time I return to Rome, but I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Dear Guest,

We are glad to learn that you have enjoyed your stay with us back in August. As a matter of fact iQ is located in a very central and well connected area in Rome, which allows our Guests to reach all over the eternal city easily enough even in the most heated temperatures of summer.

Regarding your comments, we would only like to clarify a couple of points. As for the refrigerator all rooms are equipped with one for the Guests personal use. This fridge is normally kept empty so that Guests may feel it with their preferred products either bought from our vending machines or from an external shop. Vending machines can be found on all floors, except the second where a launderette may be found, and sell everything, from beer and wine, snacks and even toiletries.

Not only iQ’s building reflects its modern idea, but also its concept; to let our Guests decided to pay only what they need and want for their stay. This also goes for the breakfast. Not included in the room rate, it can be added even at check in time for the cost of Euro 10 per day per person. This is because we believe in giving Guests a choice of services they want included. Not all travelers like having breakfast in the morning, so why should they pay extra for it?

Also, we would like to inform our future Guests, that our selling websites show iQ’s interior design and explain our concept. Furthermore, if in need of any further information on our rooms or on Rome, our Front Office agents will be happy to assist you.

This hotel is great, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel is innovative and brings some great new ideas to the hotel industry, the locatation is perfect for sight seeing Rome. The bus route is about a 200m away from the hotel and most of the major sites are with walking distance.

Room Tip: Try get a high up room.

Usually I choose hotels in buildings with loads of character. This hotel has none but I loved it
anyway. The staff were great from the first encounter and they have thought of everything a traveller needs. E.g. The wifi was great, there was a coin operated laundry and vending machines with cheap hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and other snacks. There was an on site shop for all kinds of travel needs.

Breakfast on the roof terrace was very good including some awesome pastries!

It was a good location about ten minutes walk from Roma Termini.

We booked a small double room and were surprised by how large it was especially for the price.

I would stay there again.

Room Tip: Higher floors have less street noise.

We stayed here for three nights in October, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was good, the bathroom was great, the vending machines are a fantastic idea- so much cheaper than drinking in bars, and you can sit on the rooftop on a sofa while you share a bottle of wine- it was great. And it was lovely to hear the Opera practising in the afternoon. We would definitely stay here again if we have the chance to return to Rome.
