Stayed two days after flying into Italy for our Honeymoon before we ventured out to Florence and Venice. We then stayed our last two days in Rome here as well. We stayed in two different rooms. Both were spacious and extremely clean. The service was top notch. The front desk helped us pick great restaurants and booked our tour. Also they even helped us with our return boarding passes.

Great location within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain. But also right by the train station and the metro.

Next time we are Rome we will be back.

Thanks,

Without a single doubt anyone looking to stay in Roma - close to all of the sites and be in a reasonably priced, extremely clean, and great hotel-DO NOT miss IQ Roma! I simply booked this hotel based off of reviews here at TripAdvisor (never disappointed by my fellow travelers on this site-thank you all) and Expedia rates! This hotel is conveniently located about a 5-10 minutes walk from Roma Termini (25-30 minute train ride from FCO) or jump onto the Metro post taking the train to Roma Termini (literally 3 min walk from the hotel) to Republicca stop.

The hotel itself is extremely clean, has every amenity you would want (especially if you are like me when on a Vaca - not in the hotel much but there to experience the sights and city!). The hotel offers a good breakfast for 10 Euros, self service laundry, gym/sauna, fast/efficient check in, no extra charges, good in room safe locker, a quiet road to the side of the main artery of Nazionale. In fact, this hotel is tucked away but right around the corner is a great little Chinese restaurant and Caffe (not together). Also, easy to walk to all the sites! The neighborhood is safe to wall around, several places to eat and still a buzz at 1-2 am :)

I travel 95% of the time professionally and a big fan of SPG and so have gotten a bit snobby about my hotels and can not find any major detractions with iQ!

One simple heads up: the window/doors only crack open and do not have any sort of catch but this is the way it is supposed to be and great to be open if it gets too hot! Which the heat is usually a bit higher than I enjoy :)

Recommend this hotel highly!!! I will be back in 10 days post my mini tour of Eastern Europe!

We stayed here for 2 nights in the 3rd week of Jan 2013. Overall we had a great experience, with the majority of the staff being welcoming and helpful. One member of the reception came across as slightly abrupt, but I think this could've been due to the language differences. It was a clean hotel, centrally located (we walked to everything, although the Vatican was an hour away by foot). All the expected basics were there, with the addition of vending machines. Rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. We got given a triple room, when we booked a double, which meant there was slightly more space. A mention has to go out to Hicham at the front desk, who after our flight got cancelled, rang the airline, sorted out all of our problems and even got the new tickets sent over, so that they could be printed off. As the person on the phone didn't speak english, this saved us a lot of time! Value for money at this hotel is second to none, we have stayed at worse places for a lot more money!

Stayed here for 3 nights in early Jan. The hotel is new and modern, not exactly easy walking distance to most of the main attractions, but public transport is everywhere and the staff are helpful in ordering taxis and such. Rooms are fairly standard but comfortable hotel rooms, all expected amenities are there. Good bed. No english television though. I liked that there were vending machines on most of the floors to purchase everything from water to wine, chips to toothpaste! The water is much cheaper to buy here in the vending machine than on the street too. The rooftop area is a nice place to sit and have a drink at night, it wasnt very busy there at all anytime we went up. There is a kids play area there too. Buffet breakfast is great value too, if you prefer something more than the typical italian breakfast of just espresso!

The location is great, walking distance to most attractions. The hotel is situated just beside the Opera House. The room is very modern and clean. Bathroom is very clean and with modern fixtures. Our booking does not include the buffet breakfast, but the 10? breakfast buffet is so worth it. Hotel staff are courteous and hospitable.

We stayed for 5 nights in September. LOVED this hotel. How fantastic to have washers instead of paying $10 per shirt at the laundry!!!
We were greeted and checked in very efficiently. Room was good sized by European standards, and everything was very clean. Lots of places to get breakfast items nearby. Easy walk to the train station.
Our favorite thing about the hotel was HICHAM at the front desk. Nicest. Guy. EVER. So helpful and sweet. If you get to stay here, please be sure to tell him MAC says HI to GREENY!

just got back from 3 nights at this hotel and i cannot fault this hotel at all, it is very clean and modern I was impressed with our room, we had booked a small double but it was very roomy I think this was because it was a corner room. Reception were helpful, Location was very good and I loved the self service aspect of the hotel, it also had a sauna which we used twice. Its set between two metro stations both a few minutes walk. There is a couple of cash points across the road. Within ten minutes walk we found a really nice Irish bar called Finnegans it seemed to be the only bit of night life there was close by. There are quite a few restaurant's close by we went holiday which was nice no complaints other than it was lacking atmosphere, where as Alessio is a must, its only across the road and had the most amazing food for reasonable price.
