We stayed four nights at the iQRoma at the beginning of June. It was exactly what we needed for Rome, yet is by no means, luxurious. Rooms are small but very clean and modern. The shower was wonderfully hot and the staff extremely courteous. I first booked this hotel because I thought it was close to Termini station, but it is actually closer to Republicca! This was actually significantly more convenient for us, as Termini is CRAZY busy. We were able to get anywhere and everywhere quickly EXCEPT for Trastevere. Google maps lies, it is not a twenty minute walk you need a cab. We did not eat anywhere around the hotel as the cuisine is not recommended by the locals. Better to go up one stop to Barberini or over to Trastevere. The rooftop area at the iQ was a great bonus. We also ended up using the laundry room, expensive (8€ for wash and dry), but it was nice to clean up our clothes. We underestimated how hot and sweaty we would get from Rome :/! Overall, I would recommend this to travelers looking for simplicity and convenience over historical glamour!

Excellent location very close to Termini and central for all attractions around this beautiful city. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and professional at all times. Hotel was spotlessly clean, very well organised and effortlessly well managed. Nothing was any trouble and staff very attentive; always on hand to assist. Facilities were fantastic and we absolutely loved the 'help yourself' concept, perhaps as it was a bit different but great all the same. Vending machines were brilliant (not usually my thing) with excellent selection of goods (only bought chilled drinks) different options on different floors, ice machine, coffee machine, ironing/DIY laundry area and a roof garden with vending bar facilities.... Really??? Yep and a bottle of wine for under €10 and lovely sitting area on the roof with open area, enclosed area and even table football at one side. Rooms were lovely too, adequately spacious, TV, fridge and modern decor. Nothing about this hotel disappointed us. This will definitely be our first choice of accommodation when next in Rome... I 100% recommend this place.

If you're looking for Roman charm and history, or luxury, this isn't the place for you. But if you want a clean, quiet, decently sized room, conveniently located, friendly, efficient front-desk service, at a reasonable price, look no further.

There's a small supermarket around the corner, some good restaurants and some of the best Gelato in Rome (Wonderful Ice Cream) less than 10 minutes away. Easy distance to Coliseum, Forum, we even walked to the Vatican Museum (but only 1 way).

I rated it only 4 out of 5 because I didn't want anyone to get the idea that this is a luxury hotel with all the services that implies. Instead it's more self-serve and a bit spartan like the Scandinavian hotels.

We used the car service to/from the airport that's offered through the hotel and were very pleased with it. It's just a bit more than a taxi would cost, but we got met personally by friendly, English speaking drivers in Mercedes sedans. If you don't want to take the train from the airport, I highly recommend this service as an alternative.

This was a WONDERFUL hotel and a thoroughly delightful stay. The price was not cheap (around $175/night), but for a first rate stay in the center of Rome, it was reasonable. The room was ready when I arrived -- a real boon for a jet-lagged traveler. It was spotless, ultra-modern, quiet and had all the necessary amenities. The room was not large, which didn't bother me in the least - but if travelers care about more space, they should know. But it was appealing and efficiently designed. There was a nice workout room, and clever vending machines dispensing everything from water and wine to toothbrushes. One of the highlights of the stay was breakfast on the rooftop garden - not to be missed! It is extra (maybe $13 or so), but an amazing array of Italian cheeses and meats, fresh fruits, vegetables and yogurt. There were also many kinds of fresh bread and rolls, and the usual American breakfast staples. And delicious cappucino or coffee. Absolutely lovely. The staff was also kind and helpful. When my plane was delayed by weather to the point where I missed the first night of my stay, they did not charge me, despite the fact that I was past the cancellation time. I can't say enough good things about this delightful hotel. The iQ will certainly be my hotel of choice when I return to Rome!

Stayed for 2 nights. Had been to Rome 9 years ago but stayed on outskirts so wanted to be more central this time. Perfect location, room was spacious, clean and modern. Also very quiet. Very comfy beds! The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast is 10 euro each 5 euro for children under 10. As our 11 and 12 year olds are fussy eaters we did not do breakfast as 10 euros each wash't good value in our case. So we bought some cereal and milk from the supermarket around the corner plus some plastic bowls and spoons. Children had breakfast in the room and we found a cafe (there's lots to choose from). The self service vending machines are reasonable. We purchased a couple of drinks from there and sat in the roof top garden which was very chilling. There's a football table so my boys were happy! Can't wait to return and would stay at this hotel again.

Located the IQ Hotel from Trip Advisor reviews, very impressed at arrival. The hotel and rooms are very modern and well kept. Room was a good size as was the bathroom, both were very clean. There is a very nice rooftop terrace and a variety of services. The location is very convenient to shopping, dining and sightseeing. Christian at the front desk was always very helpful in our requests and answering our questions. Overall we would highly recommend the IQ Hotel to anyone visiting Rome and would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: We requested king non smoking room and were given a very nice room.
