Stayed for 4 nights in August for a wedding anniversary. Really lovely hotel, room was spacious, very well appointed and extremely clean. Ideally situated 5 minutes walk from the station (we caught the 8 Euro shuttle bus in from the airport) and about half way between the older Roman district of the Colosseum and the Villa Borghese/ Vatican. There are no coffee making facilities in the rooms, but coffee is available from reception (1 euro) or there's a machine on the top floor dispensing coffee, beer, wine and sandwiches at very reasonable prices. Also a supermarket just opposite and a fridge in your room to keep everything cool. Definitely recommend the breakfasts for 10 Euros if you haven’t bought it as part of your room rate.. Rome is an expensive place to eat but there was a huge buffet available of fresh fruit, cooked meats, pastries and cereals etc. Staff were very helpful and fluent in any language. We checked out in the morning and didn’t have a flight booked until 9 but there’s somewhere to leave luggage safely for free and a handy toilet with washing facilities so you can change and clean up before your journey home. Although only a short walk from shops and bars it was very quiet. I like a softer bed, but that is my only criticism as it’s a fantastic place to stay!

Excellent hotel. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious with Flat screen TV, nice bathrooms, good lighting and well working air conditioning. I had a family of 5 with three teenagers so we had 2 rooms adjoining – a double and triple. The triple room was exceptionally large. Both rooms had a balcony overlooking the Opera House. Free internet (through private kiosks located in the business center), exercise room, and laundry facility are nice extras. Loved the self service vending machines located throughout the hotel providing moderately-priced drinks (including water, soft drinks, wine and beer), snacks, and sandwiches. The self service roof-top garden area is a great place to relax and have a late night drink or snack under the stars. Staff was extremely polite and helpful. All spoke fluent English. Good location in Rome’s center. You are a 15 minute walk or short taxi ride or bus ride from most of Rome’s major attractions. The hotel does not have a restaurant or room service, but there are plenty of places to eat in the area. They did serve breakfast, however, my plan did not include breakfast so I cannot comment. I did not have a rental car, but parking appeared to be difficult. Great value for the money. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is seeking a modern, clean, high-quality hotel in Rome’s center who does not need the amenities of a restaurant and room service.

iQ Hotel Roma is a new hotel with great facilities, located within walking distance (maximum 10min) of Roma Termini station (where you can also catch the A (red line) and B (blue line) Metro). The metro lines will take you to points of interest in Rome (Colosseo, Spanish Steps, Vatican, etc.)
We arrived from Zurich and were happy to find iQ Roma quite easily. Service at the front desk was exceptional and they were helpful at every occasion. Hotel was exceptionally clean and the large room was also immaculately clean. Sauna and fitness facilities are available free of charge to guests - a bonus if you need to work off a few pizzas and all the bread and cheese. I recommend running in the early hours through the streets of Rome over the treadmill. This allows you to appreciate the Vatican etc without the large crowds.
Breakfast buffet is available upstairs for a cost of 10 euro per person. Very decent breakfast. Vending machines with drinks at very good prices. Complimentary wireless and business centre is also available.
If you ask for a restaurant at the front desk, they will recommend that you go to one in particular. While we found that this restaurant was ok, we had better meals at other places - That's Amore (near the Trevi and there is also one conveniently located around the corner from iQ, though we did not try this one) and Strega (we went here twice, pizza first time was great, second time was average).

If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, convenient and affordable hotel in Rome, I highly recommend iQ Roma.

Agree with all the reviews this hotel is well located, clean, had good facilites and the staff are all really nice.

The hotel itself is about a 35 minute cab ride from Rome Airport (€35 in a taxi) and just off a main shopping street. It is very close to the major attractions. 15 minutewalk to the Trev Fountain or a <€10 taxi ride to any of the major attractions. It is also a 5 minute walk to the local metro station / bus routes.

The hotel is new, minimalist but has a nice feel to it. The rooms are small but well apportioned. The hotel offers free wi-fi access and has a nice roof top terrace to enjoy. There are vending machines to offer those essentials and the prices are not too expensice (given Rome's Prices in general).

Happy to recommend this hotel for a decent place to stay in Rome - 4* all the way.

We arrived on their 1 month birthday. This is a new hotel that is trying to appeal to the business/ avid traveler that is looking for all the stops in their hotel. There is a fitness center, laundry room, business center with free internet. All rooms have A/C and beautiful bathrooms. They are very eager to please since it is brand new. Breakfasts are quite good as well. We also stayed here after 17 days on our trip and it was a relief. Very close to Termini train station and another metro station as well as to the Palatine. I highly recommend this new hotel!

We spend only one night in IQ Hotel Roma, but we would definitely stay longer! Our room was so nice, especially the bath.
Location is perfect. You can walk to the Termini station and it is better to walk than take the metro because of those terribly long underground walks.

There are several good restaurants in this area so it is not a problem that there is not one in the hotel. Ristorante Strega was our choise and we can recommend it as well.

Ended a 17 day trip to Italy by spending the last night in iQ Roma. The hotel was excellent: new furnishings, nice bath, good location, friendly hotel staff. I would definitely stay here again. Location is about 6 minute walk from Termini and right at the Opera house.
