We stayed in Rome for a few nights after a weeklong stay in Florence. When we arrived with our 3 months old son at Palm Gallery Hotel, we had a hot and cramped train ride behind us. It really felt like arriving at an oasis in the desssert when we were served cold drinks and presented with a very cosy room. When we booked our stay we told the owner, Luisa, that we would be traveling with a baby. Instead of telling us that the hotel did not usually have babies as guests, she asked us what we needed in order to be comfortable.

When we arrived she had prepared a crib with pillow and linnen, a plastic tub for the baby to take a bath, a stroller to walk around town (since we did not bring one for this part of the trip) and so on. We were overwelmed by the hospitality and commitment to make our stay enjoyable. We also got all our questíons about were to eat and what to see answered with a smile.

All in all we are very happy with our stay and would recomend anyone to stay at Palm Gallery Hotel!

We found this hotel by searching tripadvisor and we enjoyed every moment. This is exactly the place you want to have after wandering and touring Rome for a whole day and returnig in the middle of the hot summer sweating and tired.
Luisa and her stuff try to make the place as comfortable as possible. The rooms are incredibly clean and pleasant and sitting in the balcony and getting tips from Luisa together with wine and coffee are absolutely wonderful. It's was really a feeling of staying at home and we would definitely return to "our home" in Rome in the future. Highly recommended!

Our family stayed at the Palm Gallery Hotel for a week and enjoyed it very much. The room was lovely, furnished in a tropical style, and everything was brand new so the bathroom and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Luisa and Daniel and the staff were very charming and helpful. Luisa is a lovely, mothering type of lady and Daniel is smart and knowledgeable. The breakfasts were delicious and it was so nice to have the friendly cats and dog around. All in all, we really enjoyed ourselves.

I would mention that the hotel is in a residential neighbourhood and far away from the tourist attractions, so you need to take a taxi or bus to get anywhere. There are many nice restaurants in walking distance of the hotel for dinner. I would describe the place as more like a bed and breakfast or a pensionne than a hotel, it's more informal and home-like than a regular hotel. The furnishings are first class though. Also, there is a slight degree of disorganization which is not enough to be a problem, but you may want to double check things. For example, we had arranged for a drive to the airport but the van was not there at the prearranged time, so a taxi was called instead and we got there in time but it caused a little panic. Rome in general seems to be slightly disorganized, so you just have to roll with it.

Returning to our cool, clean, friendly hotel may have been the highlight of our 5 days spent in the blistering heat of July in Rome. I don't normally post online comments one way or the other, but a positive review here is really the least I can do to say THANK YOU to Luisa and her staff for all they did to make us feel comfortable during our stay. The Palm Gallery Hotel really is as good as all the reviewers have stated. You won't be disappointed.

We stayed at the Palm Gallery Hotel for two night recently and were very happy with the overall experience. The neighbourhood feels cozy, quiet and charming...not so touristy here.
The buildings are well cared for and we felt safe in this area. Upon entering the Palm Gallery you will see a two patio eating areas surrounded by small lovely gardens; very different and quite nice. The hotel itself is stories and the main area downstairs has a good sized eating area with a TV and different newspapers. The staff were VERY friendly and polite. Our room was on the 2nd floor and I love the unique style of the rooms. It was also very clean, had a TV, wireless internet and airconditioning=everything you need! It is very quiet at night so we slept very well. My favourite part of about this h otel is that breakfast is served until 12:00 noon so you can tour all day, sleep in and leisurely go downstairs when you want. I was very happy with the food options, especially the bread and trays with multiple cheeses. They also had yogurt, danishes, fruit and many different kinds of juices. Very satisfied and very happy. We met the owner and she is a lovely lady.

Being a much travelled 61 year old teacher, I think I know what makes a great hotel and the Palm Gallery comes up trumps in all criteria. From the moment we were picked up by Daniel, Louisa's right hand man, to the moment we were dropped off by her husband it was the most delightful of stays. Nothing was too much trouble - from serving breakfast at 1.00pm after a particularly late night to giving expert tourist advice (including booking a restaurant which served up one of the best seafood meals we have had in ages) to continually trying to ensure that we wanted for nothing.
If in Rome,do yourself a favour and stay here - we. will certainly go back.

We stayed at the Palm Gallery Hotel for 3 nights. Louisa is the most amazing host, the hotel is beautiful, the rooms are lovely all newly decorated, great airconditioning and comfortable beds. The area is so quiet and peaceful, easily accessible to the City centre 10 mins by Taxi. Daniel met us at the airport, Daniel was so obliging and very knowledgeable, the staff are very discreet. Upon arrival at the hotel we had a beautiful bottle of champagne and some nibbles whilst relaxing on the balcony. Little did we know that this was to be our favourite spot in the garden, relaxing and chatting with Louisa who helped to plan our travels by car into Tuscany via Porta San Stefano!!! (a Nav Man is a must). We highly reccomend this hotel and can't wait to go back again.
