I had to write a review to tell you all about our amazing stay here. We stayed here for 3 nights last week & I cannot fault the place.
We were welcomed warmly when we arrived at the B&B - taken to our lovely spacious room by the owner. After settling in, we were about to go out & the owner was there with glasses of champagne & nibbles to welcome us. She then spent a good 20/30 minutes telling us all we needed to know about Rome. Which, it's invaluable knowledge!! Recommending us places to go & eat, which bus/metro routes to use & where to visit. The food recommendations were great - we checked them out on trip advisor before we went & all of them were well recommended . . . so she was so honest.
Don't believe what you read about the breakfast - it was fantastic! If you do your research of places to stay within Rome city centre, you will know that most places at the same price as this place will give you a voucher for coffee & a croissant at a nearby cafe. This B&B has their own breakfast area. They have a great selection . . . fresh croissants from a nearby bakery (which were soooooo yummy!) cereal, fruit, boiled eggs, toast, yoghurts & a coffee machine giving you a great selection. There was more than enough for you to eat a good breakfast & you don't need to worry that they will run out - plenty of food to fill you up.
The room itself was very spacious (considering you're in central Rome!) High ceilings, large TV with Italian Sky, very pretty LED lighting, big bathroom with a shower big enough for 2 people easily! The shower was lovely, had hydro massage heads & a big rainforest shower head . . . so you could have either or - bliss! My only (very tiny) complaint about the room was that the pillows were a bit hard & flat . . . but nothing we couldn't manage on for a couple of nights.
The location is great. Minutes away from the central Termini station (which trains & buses from airports go to) a 10 minute walk to the colloseum. As already said, it's a bit far to walk to the Vatican. We got the metro to the Vatican & walked back going via Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain & Spanish Steps. Took us the day, but it was a great walk & we were constantly stopping for drinks, food & shopping!!
Can't recommend this place enough - make the right decision & chose this lovely B&B to enjoy what Roma has to offer. You won't be disappointed . . . !
