I stayed in this place for 3 nights last week. Well where to start...owners are so nice and friendly, they waited for me to arrive as my flight was late (check in is only till 8pm i arrived just before 9) they made me feel welcome straight away plus gave me some really good tips about rome! Room was nice, clean and had everything you need! Braleakfast was simple but nice, you help yourself with everything, nice garden. The B&B is in perfect location, only 2 minutes walk to nearest metro station, about 15 min to colluseum. Would definitely reccomended to everyone who is looking for nice quiet friendly place to stay in rome!

Stayed in August with a friend and my daughter. Could not have had a better and more friendly base to travel around Rome. The Hotel hosts are a lovely family who took such great care of us and expressed extreme concern for our stay and well being. Morning breakfast was so lovely, they were so wonderful with my 6 year old daughter. Apart from the great hospitality, the place itself was very clean and in fact beautiful, it was easy location to explore the city from and very safe. Highly recommend to others! San Giovanni church is a quick walk away, just up the street you can see the top of the church. Metro and bus lines that lead across the city are very close by. Don't forget to try the icecream at Capitan Cono across from the church, and nearby restaurant Mangia Fuoco for an amazing dinner.

We were pleased with our room and the breakfast facilities. The walls are thin though, and we could clearly hear the family living next door, and also someone in the adjoining room. We were a little disconcerted by that because there seemed to be no way to assure ourselves that this person could not enter our room - we could not lock anything. We never saw Barbara the whole time we were there, - her boyfriend met us when we arrived and paid for our 3 night stay. He helpfully gave us advice on where to eat and what to see but once he left we never saw him again. He and Barbara live elsewhere. I suppose we could have phoned them but we didn't. Anyway, we worried for nothing and late at night everyone was quiet so we slept well. The bed seemed new and comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful with a great shower. Our room was always clean when we returned from a day of sightseeing. We always had the breakfast patio to ourselves and never saw any of the other guests. There was milk and juice in the fridge and cereal and various pastries set out each morning for breakfast. A Tassimo type of coffee maker and different teas were available. There are 4 doors, so I assume there are 4 rooms, two on each side of the kitchen area. If you want hosts that are close by this may not be the place for you, but we like being left alone and we thought 95 Eur a night made it very good value.

Room Tip: It's nice having your own door onto the breakfast patio, but you will hear the neighbours who li...

We stayed there for 3 nights in October. The room was always well serviced and the host polite. barbara gave us a good introduction to the city, and recommended some good places to eat.

We found the city noise a bit too loud - our room faced the street and is at ground level. We live in the country, and are used to silent nights, so found it hard to sleep.

Barbara (the owner) receives you like a friend, and she lets her B&B in your hands, like she lends her house to you. There is a little kitchen where you may selfserv by fresh bread, juices, coffee, all day long. Rooms are quite clean and modern, but it is just a B&B, and you must expect exactly this, not a great hotel. It is perfect for its purposes, and I think it is the best in Rome within its category. It is very near of bus/metro station (San Giovanni), and if you go by car you may park at Via Apia that is about 200 m. Internet WiFi is free.

Room Tip: There are 4 rooms, 2 toward street and 2 toward the backyard. Choose the room in the backyard if you...

We stayed at St John B&B for 3 nights. Knowing that we are in Rome for wedding photoshoot, Barbara is so helpful in recommending different location and helping us to arrange transport. Love the idea of breakfast setup. It's located near a metro. Walking to Colosseum can be challenging initially. We took about 20mins. Barbara and franseco really make us feel so at home. Thank you!
