I can't say anything wrong about the place nor the Maurius, although not to be seen but send him an email he will reply within minutes. The location is perfect near a grocery, and the Vatican is a stone throw away and of course the bus is right outside. Andre who works with Marius is incredible, ask and he will provide you with all the help you need. The rooms were clean and I can't complain, Each room can actually sleep 3 people
This place changed my experience of staying at a B&B

Room Tip: ask to stay in the place with Ikea furniture.

We stayed in Rome for one night on our way to Slovenia. This B&B is very close to the Vatican...you can see it from the room. We had accomodations for the five of us. It was clean, and a simple breakfast was provided in the morning. We took a bus (stop right outside the apartment) to the train station and we were off. I recommend this B&B for anyone that wants to be close to the Vatican, and many other tourist attractions in Rome.

Stayed for one night with my family. When our taxi driver dropped us off at the location, both my husband and I thought we had been duped. It really doesn't look like a place that you would typically find a B&B. We were lucky that Maria was still there...she didn't know when we were arriving, and had waited there for us. She showed us around the place, and helped us up the elevator with our bags.

We were so close to the Vatican, and had booked a tour for that afternoon. I was so happy when the tour was over...I took a shower and just enjoyed the view from the balcony. In the morning, breakfast was waiting for us. We met Maria on our way out and she helped us with getting bus fare to the train station, and we were lucky enough to catch the bus right away (bus stop right outside the B&B). Maria had also been helpful regarding places to eat nearby. I loved our night in Rome! I recommend this B&B!

We just returned a few days ago from our visit at this wonderful B&B. It was the perfect location for our visit to the Vatican, and the staff was amazing. Marius met us at check in, gave us a great overview of the area including the bus location, great restaurant options, and directions to meet our tour guide the following morning. He even arranged to have breakfast ready before 8am since we had to meet a tour guide at 7:30am. Breakfast consisted of simple sandwiches and various pastries- nothing too heavy which was perfect for us. Everything was taken care of- he even arranged a car to take us back to the airport. I don't think we could have asked for more gracious host (and staff). The room was clean, comfortable, and modern. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Much thanks to Marius and his staff!

Stayed at b&b from 26-29 Dec
2011. Mauris arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport. Cost was 55euro. No waiting for buses, taxis etc. When arrived the entrance was a small door along a row of shops. You wouldn't know the b&b was there. Octavia and Maria welcomed us in. B&b is in an apartment block. Our room was perfect. We had a double bed, single and bunk beds. ( we travelled with our 3 children) room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was lovely. Croissants, pastries, cheese, yogurts, tea, coffee, fruit juice. All fresh and served with a smile from staff. Breakfast is served just outside the rooms. There was a small kitchenett you can use to make drinks in the day. There was also a huge Italian cake you could help yourself too anytime and fresh fruit. Octavia gave us lots of info about where to go and what transport was best. On our first day we went on the open top bus ride. 2 hours. Saw all main places to visit and helped us find our bearings so we could plan our days. B&b is located 5 mins walk from St. Peters square and basilica. Wow! What a place. Go early to aavoid queuing. We went at 9.15. There are lots of cafe's near the b&b and restaurants and snack bars. Would highly recommend staying here. Have already told friends and family!!!
