It is definitely not a 5 star hotel! Please, if you are looking for a luxury trip, do not go to this hotel.

It is a new hotel, things are newly furnished. Don't be mislead by the glamorous photos. I would say the staff are really trying to provide the best service possible. But then being located in a small street, on top of a bar, it is not the best location possible.

Wifi internet, everything in the mini bar (even alcohol) and breakfast are all included in the room rate. I felt a bit forced to pay for something I would not consume. They have offered me a free 20 minutes massage at the Spa.

I made my reservation on lastminute.com and the room was a normal double room. it is simply nothing like those shown on the webpage. The room is small and without a bath tub (the reception said I should have specify when i reserve)... The "double bed" was made of two single bed, and i can feel the "trench" in between... With 500 something euros for 3 nights, I was expecting something more classy.

Since I visited during winter, I didn't hear anything from the bar at night, luckily. Breakfast was served in the breakfast room on the ground floor. Not too much of a choice, something similar to a holiday inn express. The breakfast room is nothing more than 3 stars... so don't expect too much.

The hotel is not worth the 5 stars. It is a kind of Residence with rooms and bathroom unfinished. The rooms are located at first floor above bars that at night are very loud with drunkers shouting like hooligans during the night until 5 a.m. in the morning. It was sincerely impossible to sleep during the nights. Such a bad experience nevere again!!

On arrival in we were told by the receptionist that we were being upgraded because we were staying for more than 3 nights and that was hotel policy. This was later used as an excuse to cover and apese our complaint about there being no restaurant or spa and the building work.
The hotel is advertised as being 5 star. There were no toiletries in the room. No iron. No toilet paper. The fridge leaked on a daily basis and then there was the constant and very loud building work below our room and in the surrounding streets.
There was no restaurant and spa because it was in the process of being built. Beneath us.
The videos attached illustrate this. The one in darkness was at 8am ! The receptionist(now manager) told us it was Italian law that building work could start at 8 and finish at 4. Basically tough and there was nothing she or us could do about it. She actually told us that 'it has to be finished by the 1st July'.
We complained to laterooms.com the company we booked through and they were as helpful as they could be. Nearly £200 worth of international phonecalls and data usage later he forced the hotel to change our room. We walked back to the hotel from the other side of Rome to be told by the receptionist (who now in later correspondence is the manager !!) that she was being forced to change our room to the floor above but, 'it would make no diffrrence'. Those were her exact words.
Our booking was for bed and breakfast. We had to take a voucher from the hotel reception to a local cafe to get breakfast. We did this only to be told that if we wanted 2 latte's and 2 foccacia sandwiches we would have to pay for the second one. Bed and breakfast at anyother hotel in the world means exactly that. It doesn't mean I can only have one coffee and one pastrie. The helpful (very tongue in check) receptionist now manager told us that this was the case all over the world and made us feel very cheap that we dared asked for two coffees at breakfast. So in effect breakfast wasn't included it was room only !
Laterooms.com openly admitted that the hotel had not told them of the building work and if they had then we should by law have been told ! We weren't.
We spent 5 days of our honeymoon on a building site. We had 5 days of absolute misery. We had to walk the streets of Rome as there was no sanctuary in our hotel. We couldn't go back after a day of site seeing to rest as the heavy structual building work was still going on directly below us !
I wrote to laterooms on our return as directed too. We have also sent videos.
Eventually I received a reply and the receptionist (now manager) states, extract from her reply to laterooms,
" am really sorry to read such unfair remarks and we are all disappointed to realize that all our efforts, maximum respect and courtesy towards our guests can be so unjustly not appreciated by someone who only aims at spending good holidays at no expense. Fortunately there is a huge majority of guests that writes us so many “thank you” letters and we have the honour to welcome in our structure very famous people from the show business, fashion world and important financial figures who most honestly recognize our quality of being a refined, recommendable destination."
So after 5 days of misery on our honeymoon and extensive building work going on around us, underneath us, we are people who only aims at spending good holidays at no expense !!!!! Thankfully all the famous people from the show business, fashion world are happy !! What a relief ! Maybe the normal people like you and me should leave this hotel to the rich and famous !!!!
One good thing. The location is excellent.

Stayed for 1 week at the Navona Palace. Perfectly located for Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain and Vatican Really nice little hotel of c45 rooms. Appeared well maintained with our room spotless and very comfortable. You get what you pay for in Rome and this was well worth the money, particularly givne the location. Better to spend on the hotel than pick an outlying hotel and spend fortunes on taxis!!
Staff were all very pleasant and attentive. Appeared to be opening new breakfast area which was a bit haphazard--but it was its first day!! Otherwise , room service was just fine.
Not so much a hotel as there is no bar, restaurant but the standard of room and location makes this place well worth staying in. Literally dozens of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Highly recommneded!!
