If you go to this restaurant be hungry very hungry. The portions are big. There were five of us(rugby lads) the antipasti is plentiful I recommend the hand sliced Parma ham delicious. The others had ham with melon and ham with cheese. The second course of pasta is huge. The ravioli delicious. The second course (meat/fish) fish is a speciality the Orata is fantastic. We also had the sucking pig(maiale) best ever. A couple of us managed a dessert they are fantastic and huge. Ok the portions are big but that does not mean the quality isn't. Fabulous food with great service the waiters had a great time having the craic. Family restaurant worth the effort to visit. I have been to Rome and had Michelin star food but this is not far behind. For three/four courses it's about 50 euros a head with the vine casa. Recommend without reservation.

Stopped by on our last lunch in Rome, did not really know what to expect since the reviews were quite different, but we were very satisfied, we had a delicious pizza and I had extraordinary good and fresh Spaghetti Vongole, they made it extra with tomatoe sauce upon my request, and we must say it was really delicious, so we hope more of you will not hesitate to stop by, the negative reviews are to be ignored. Try it for yourself, nice seating outside aswell and friendly service. Of course it is not a fine dining restaurant but for the price and quality, we could not ask for more, very tasty!!!! and good house wine!!

this place was absolutely fabulous. We got in really late on a Sunday night and asked our hotel for a suggestion where to go/ what was open, they sent us here since we requested pizza. Going in, we didn't know what to expect. We ordered 2 pizzas to share between four of us and a liter of the house wine. Everyone took one bite and we decided we were going to need to order another pizza! It was just too good... then we ordered another.. and another half liter of wine. This was. the.best.pizza.we.have.ever.had... really (and we're from New York!). The wine was excellent also of course. We all enjoyed it so much, we made plans to come back and get more pizza before heading off to the airport.

We ate inside - had very good service. Good choice of food, typical family run restaurant - quite busy. We all had pizzas, and yes they were a little burnt at the edges but they have been properly cooked in a traditional pizza oven!!! That didn't matter as they were very tasty and filling. The desserts were good too - good choice of cakes/ice cream etc. A little overpriced - but it was our first trip to Rome so weren't expecting a cheap meal!

This restaurant was recommended and booked for us by our hotel's concierge, and there were plenty of locals eating there which is always a good sign.

Did not enjoy at all the dinner at this place... Outside on the terrace, the white garden chairs were dirty and uncomfortable. The service was appalling and the pizzas taste better anywhere else, even outside Italy. We took a beer with it, the pint for EUR 5. Everybody was smoking around us... and it took the servant more than 30 minutes to prepare the bill. With a plate of antipasti italiani and a small aperitivo, we paid EUR 50.

For sure, not again.
