We booked on Hotels.com because it was so conveniently located to the Vatican. This turned out to be the best decision we ever made. We were greeted by Daniel. I listened to him explain the hotel and the area to the couple in front of us and was impressed with his enthusiasm for the property. When it was my turn, he was just as enthusiastic. He spelled the right places to eat and we had a great dinner after our long train ride from Paris.
The next day we spoke to the equally charming Alexandra. We needed help booking our onward journey and she took the time to do it all for us.
We were mostly impressed with the design qualities of our room. The rooms are small, but decorating in a style that opens up the space.
We could not have been happier with our stay. It was definitely the best property experience in Europe. And because of its location, it makes for easy walks to and from the sights as well as being able to figure out your place at night.
