The Vatican was awesome and I enjoyed the tour emensely. The place is huge but very clean and everthing was breathtakingly beautiful. I would recommend this stop if in Rome no matter what your religion might be.

We stayed there this August. Great Location, walk to the Vatican museum. Metro station is just a couple of blocks away and is a nice walk to get there. Great service and friendly staff. Also a couple of good restaurants in walking distance

We booked on Hotels.com because it was so conveniently located to the Vatican. This turned out to be the best decision we ever made. We were greeted by Daniel. I listened to him explain the hotel and the area to the couple in front of us and was impressed with his enthusiasm for the property. When it was my turn, he was just as enthusiastic. He spelled the right places to eat and we had a great dinner after our long train ride from Paris.

The next day we spoke to the equally charming Alexandra. We needed help booking our onward journey and she took the time to do it all for us.

We were mostly impressed with the design qualities of our room. The rooms are small, but decorating in a style that opens up the space.

We could not have been happier with our stay. It was definitely the best property experience in Europe. And because of its location, it makes for easy walks to and from the sights as well as being able to figure out your place at night.

Room Tip: Our room on the third floor was outstanding

My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at this hotel. We were concerned with finding the hotel so we booked the airport transfer. We were greeted at the airport and driven to the hotel in a Mercedes limo - well worth it €10 more than a taxi! We were checked in by the wonderful smiling Allessandra, she made us feel like family! The deluxe room 204 was absolutely fantastic, it has a boutique feel, spacious and a really great bathroom with separate large shower and seperate bath, a small kitchenette and great bed. Everything worked and we made comment to each other that out of all the hotel options in Rome we were so happy to have made this choice. St Peters Basilica is 80 metres away and the Vatican Museum a short walk, as was the metro. We visited every major tourist attraction in Rome with ease from this base. The area has mini-marts, numerous good quality restaurant options in Pio street next door and in the vicinity. We will definitely stay here next time and recommend this to all our friends. Well done to all the staff! It made Rome all the more enjoyable.

The hotel is in an ideal location just a very short walk to Vatican City & St Peter's Basilica. There are plenty of good restaurants in walking distance, and the Metro is an relatively easy 5 to 10 minutes away. The room was awesome, the beds comfortable, and there is a cozy rooftop patio with a decent (but probably oversold) view of St Pete's. The biggest plus of this hotel was the incredibly friendly and professional staff, the best I've ever experienced.

There were a few negatives that kept us from giving this 5 stars. the biggest is probably the value. Perhaps we booked it too late to get a decent price, but we actually liked our 2nd hotel a little more at 1/2 the cost (Giulia TownHouse, which we also booked late, about two weeks out). A minor issue was the fairly weak showerhead in what was otherwise awesome bathroom (the Giulia TownHouse had the same showerhead but better pressure). Finally, there really is no hotel lobby (more like an office) if you like that sort of thing.

Dear RobynG61,

Thank you for the beautiful review!
Our motto is "arrive client and leave friend," but, in fact, you often become like members of our family .. to be beside you in difficult times comes naturally to us. Also we want that, out of your house, you may have someone to rely on. We are happy to have succeeded in this.

A big hug and come back soon!
