“A Welcome Surprise”
Reviewed 8 February 2013

For 1st time visitors to Rome we were a little unsure as to an ideal place to stay, but were extremely happy to have chosen Termini Gold. Alberto was a wonderful host & bent over backwards to ensure we had everything sorted for our stay. The room was very well presented & the home made tea cake a delight! Would definitely stay again

My wife and i, enjoyed a weekend in Rome and we choosed B&B Termini Gold for our stay, it was a very good choice i must admit. After our reservation Alberto , the owner, was very reactive in answering our mails and he mentionned exactly how we can reach the hostel.
B&B Termini Gold is very well situated 10 mn from Termini Railstation with several goods restaurants, "gelatia" and supermarket across the corner.
The hostel was very clean, newly furnished and calm. Alberto was helpful ans professionnal. We had a continental Beakfast with Free Coffee all the day long. Alberto's wife prepared us a sweet home-made bakery.
You will feel like home in B&B Termini Gold

Thanks Alberto :)

Room Tip: Choose the room with bathroom inside.

I apologise to Alberto for only just getting round to writing this.

Me and my partner stayed for 5 nights at this wonderful B&B in September. The only traumatic thing was getting the taxi to there (dropping us off a few streets away!) from the airport.

The B&B is located 5 or so minutes walk from a metro station which links you to a lot of the popular Roman sites, and a few out-of-the-way ones also. Alberto is very helpful if you need help planning or ideas for places to go. His printing services were very much appreciated, too! As was his map and recommendations for ice cream!

Alberto has gone the extra mile with his B&B. Breakfast is cutely laid out in the kitchen for each room that is occupied. The fridge is stocked with milk and juice, bread, little toasted bread things I can't remember the names of with chocolate spread and there's cereals too! The room was clean and even have a safe.

The room we stayed in wasn't en-suite but that wasn't a problem - mainly because we were up and out earlier than the other room!

Nearby the B&B is a variety of take-outs, restaurants and there's a supermarket about 2 streets over. Very convenient!

Alberto is a very nice man and nothing seemed too much trouble for him, I think I still owe him 1 Euro. When we come back to Rome (re: when we can afford another holiday) we'll certainly be in touch.

Thank you, Alberto.

Room Tip: Two of the rooms share one bathroom, so if you are anal about it opt for the en-suite - but the room...

Don t hesitate to stay at alberto's b&b .
He s really nice , we had a warm welcome and he was here in case of any help.
Moreover it is only 15 min away from the colloseum and the center.
Next to termini is also a good thing as you can move all around and the metro stop manzoniis only 5 min away from the b&b.

The breakfast was also excellent. We had all we needed!

If you stay in rome!! Definitely go there!!!!

Alberto is very nice and maintains a high standard of cleanliness throughout the b and b. We felt free to wonder in and out as we wished but Alberto could be contacted if needed. For the money it is a bargin and it's location means you are in easy reach of all the major sites quickly. (the Vatican is probably the only place you would need to use public transport for but the metro stop is close so no issues with that either). Just one tip: if you are coming and want to save some money then don't get the train, which is around €28, each return, but get the bus. Don't however buy tickets on the plane for €11, because these are tickets to the centre, purchase them in the terminal building (follow the signs to the bus stops inside the terminal and you will see a stall selling tickets). The company is called atral but the posters in the hall say terravision. The return bus costs €8 each will take you to termini, these buses are not effected by strikes and run from 6.30 to 21.50 from the airport the returns run inbetween. They have a website if you type in terrovision into a serach engine you will get to it.

We stayed at Termini Gold back in June. Late to write this review but decided we should share our thoughts of this delightful b&b with other tripadvisor readers. Alberto was the perfect host, introducing us to his wonderful Rome. He gave us many tips on how to get around and great places to visit. The b&b is extremely clean and beautfilly presented - and a great coffee machine to help yourself. Just around the corner are a number of good restaurants, not to mention the fabulous icreceam shop nearby. If we ever return to Rome we would definitely stay again at Termini Gold and have recommended it to our friends.

Room Tip: Request room with private ensuite.
