“Good drinks, filthy bathroom”
Reviewed 12 October 2013

We stopped in for a few drinks on our way back to our hotel. The cocktails were good and reasonably priced. Well reasonable compared to Boston or NY. The bathroom however was disgusting. There is no toilet seat and I don't want to speculate what was on the rim. OK for a guy or a number 1, but for a girl or a number 2? No way. The floor was wet too.

“Nice location-decent food- NASTY bathroom”
Reviewed 5 October 2013

I've been told before to not eat at restaurants with dirty bathrooms. Unfortunately we ate first. The food was fine, the atmosphere (street cafe) was very Roman- lovely- but after stopping in the ladies room on the way out I felt dirty all afternoon. Seriously. Oh well. Next time I will ask first.

“Best gelato I've ever tasted”
Reviewed 16 September 2013 via mobile

During our time in Italy I had gelato in at least 8 places in Rome, Florence and Naples. This was the best by far. I chatted with the owner and he stated it was a homemade recipe. If you are in this area please give it a try!

“Great little sidewalk cafe”
Reviewed 16 August 2013

Rome, May 19th
Brancaccio Caffe-We actually found this place our second day as we waited to do a bike tour (read about that later). So we found this little place on a street corner with some tables outside and a nice shade tree. Our waiter was very nice and we ordered a ham pizza and two Peroni beers. They brought out this cute little Peroni glasses and 2 huge bottles of very cold beer. The pizza was so-so (more or less our experience every time we ate pizza in Italy). Very little cheese and uncut with a giant piece of ham in the middle. But the atmosphere was pretty good and the beer was awesome.
