“Wonderful stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 June 2014

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it! Simone and Fillipo were both SO helpful and friendly; we really felt welcome and like they genuinely wanted us to enjoy Rome and the hotel. We ate meals at 3 nearby restaurants they recommended, and enjoyed every meal and the fact that we only had to walk 5-10 minutes back to hotel after dinner. I loved the location, as it seems to be a residential, non touristy area, but it's close to metro stations and the Vatican, and you can walk to other attractions as well. For transportation, we used a mix of the metro and walking. We walked to Travestere, then Villa Borghese, and back to the B&B one day. The room is very clean and comfy and has competent AC which was a blessing!!

My husband and I stayed at A Peace of Rome in June 2014. We were very happy with our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, and we were so grateful for the air conditioning as it was very hot in Rome during our stay. We took Daniele's suggestion to eat at Vito e Dina and it was spectacular. The location of the B&B was great, easy walk from the metro station, close to the Vatican, but away from large groups of tourists. We took the metro a couple times into the city center, but on our last day we actually walked back from the Colosseum which is on the other side of the city center. We had a wonderful stay, and we definitely hope to return! Thank you!

Where do I begin? Thank you, thank you, thank you to Claudio, Simona, Fillipo, Stefania, and Carmiella. You guys are the best. You went out of your way to make us feel like we were "home." My room was perfect: clean, good air con, great, free Wifi, and well-appointed. The shower was perfect. The Sky TV was icing on the cake. Prati is a great, quiet neighborhood away from the tourist hoardes. Whenever I am in Rome, I shall always return here. The porter at the building was extremely entertaining and I really enjoyed my cab ride thru traffic to the train station with Ugo, even though he wasn't pleased with the traffic. Everything was perfectly Roman!

This was a wonderful place for our stay 8-12 March,2014. It was very easy to communicate with Simona before our arrival, she also helped to book for us a table on the evening of the arrival day, so we didn't have to worry about celebrating my husband's b-day;) All the places of interest and restaurants, recomended by her were of good quality and price. We had a room #5, which actually was triple and had two double beds although we'd booked a double;) it was absolutelly clean and wonderful with the windows to the street and a pretty big bathroom. This B&B is situated in a beautiful house on the second floor with an inner court. Nearby there are lot's of small cafes and grocery stores, mostly for locals, which means that the prices there are very pleasant. The district is very quiete although just 10-15 min walk to Vatican, all the crouds come from the other side and not on this street. We would definitely stay here or at this district nearby if there are no rooms available in this B&B, cause we liked the small streets and shopping street nearby, all the nice restaurants and real peace which is in every detail of this place.
Warm wishes Daniele & Simona from Anastasia&Ivan;)

Where to begin? First, Daniele and Simona were instrumental to making our first visit to Rome so exhilarating and successful. As others have mentioned, they were especially helpful as we planned our visit the Colosseum, Forum and Palatine Hill, providing insights about where to purchase tickets to avoid the dreaded queues. In addition to their tactical advice, they were just such decent human beings--funny, kind and so generous. Dinner suggestions were spot on. We always felt we were in good hands. Second, the accommodations. We found our room to be very comfortable and outfitted with all the conveniences we could have wanted. Finally, the location was just perfect--a pretty easy walk or metro ride to most locations It was also in a fairly quiet neighborhood, which was a welcome respite from the energy level of Rome. In short, we could not have been happier, and would definitely stay here again or at one of their other properties.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The room and entire facility is simply fantastic. The place is directly located in heart of rome and it was easy to get there by train. We would always come back and we will also recommend A peace of rome to our friends. Thumbs up!

My husband and I stayed at A Peace of Rome in June 2013 for a few nights as part of our honeymoon.
The B&B is in an ideal location for those wanting access to the Vatican and St peters square, a metro stop being only a short walk away for those wanting to get to the colosseum and other parts of Rome. Unfortunately Romes metro system has only two lines which cross over each other so we did find ourselves having to walk a lot (we couldnt get our head around the bus system). If staying in Rome again, I might perhaps choose a different location.

In saying that though, this B&B was excellent value in a city full of expensive accommodation. The rooms all appear to be much the same, our room was quite large with plenty of room for luggage (big wardrobe) and was always very clean. The bed was just double sized though rather than a king. Free wifi always worked well. There was no included breakfast, but it was available at a cafe across the street for a reasonable price. We just got espresso and a cornetto (pastry) each morning and ate/drank on the run like the Italians!

The staff were extremely enthusiastic and very helpful with maps and sorting out sightseeing. I can definitely recommend a Peace of Rome.

Room Tip: All the rooms here are much the same, but perhaps choose one away from the reception area.Ours overl...
