Reviewed 25 June 2013

Stayed at the Victoria apartment 14/21st June. Sabrina booked our car transfer from the airport so knew our ETA but no one there to greet us at the apartment, called to say we were standing outside in the baking hot sun and Sabastian arrived on his bike after about 15 minutes. Showed us up to apartment, first glance looks good, but when unpacking realised there is no wardrobe/hanging rail or chest of drawers, or mirror in the second bedroom where my grown up daughter was sleeping, and only a hanging rail with mirror behind in the main bedroom. No Italian lady would suffer this in her home. Still can't use powder drawer on washing machine owing to cupboard frame, not enough crockery, no wine glasses only tumblers, 4 light bulbs not working. Most things in apartment were bought from IKEA would suggest owner goes back for more supplies. Most worrying was there is no fire extinguisher or fire blanket in the apartment, I would have thought that this would have been mandatory. Location was excellent, Rome as ever a great experience will visit again but stay somewhere else.

We stayed here in June (not sure why my original review did not post) and I have to say we were so happy with the apartment.
We booked via Booking.com, but contacted Sabrina direct to query a few things, and she was fantastic! (We also took her recommendation of using a prebooked transfer, and yes, a bit dearer, but worth it with two tired kids. The driver also called ahead, so Sabrina was there to greet us and hand over keys). Very welcoming.
The apartment is upstairs, no lift - so not good if you have a lot of heavy luggage, but we were fine.
Very well equipped, and surprisingly quiet for such an incredibly central spot. Within walking distance of Piazza Navona, Vatican etc. the last time I stayed in Rome, I paid a lot more and didn't have the facilities or peace that this apartment provided.
Cool, quiet and central - so perfect.

While in Rome for a wedding in October, we stayed with Sabrina at Cedro 21 for the second time in three years. First, dealing with Sabrina is hassle free. Second, the location is absolutely ideal. Getting there from Fiumincino is easy: take a train to the Trastevere stop and then hop on the tram right outside the station and head north in Viale de Trastevere for several stops.
Trastevere is the section of Rome that reminds us most of the East Village where we live. Cedro 21 is a few hunded meters from the lively Via La Scala section so it is quiet. But within minutes you can be at the Piazza de Santa Maria or crossing the Ponte Sisto to head to the Piazza Farnese, Campo di Fiori, Piazza Navonna and beyond. Third, the apartments are absolutely spotless and the beds comfortable. The only improvement I would recommend would be having some essential cooking essentials in the larder such as sugar, olive oil, etc. and a larger moka for coffee making. But Cedro 21 is a great place to call home when visiting Rome for more than two days.

Stayed here for 3 nights with 2 children and it was very charming and practical at the same time. I found it very clean and definately had a womans touch with the decor. Sabrina was very nice, and cheerful and very welcoming. Was very quiet at the Victoria Suite, even tho its in the centre of the busiest tourist area. Our only thing that was not expected was the flight of stairs my husband had to lug our very heavy suitcases up, but that was really nothing to bother about really. Very close to some very good restaurants, and excellent location to board hop-on hop-off buses and boat. Internet was free and the quickest anywhere we stayed all over Italy. Would definately stay again, however the airport driver had trouble finding it due to the no signage, being a private residence. But we know where it is, now!

Just returned from first visit to Rome where we stayed at #21 cedro4 - a slight surprise as confirmation was for cedro1 but hey ho! Location in Trastevere is fantastic. The apartment itself small but with all essentials. Only issue was the shower door left room for only a stick insect to get in without difficulty! Unfortunately did not get to meet Sabrina but Bernado was v helpful and friendly. Roof top terrace an excellent space for breakfast or a late drink listening to the buzz of the surrounding area. We will return, once our feet have recovered from all the walking.

We had a wonderful time in Rome, thanks to the nice and friendly service of Sabrina and staff at Cedro 21.# 3. The apartment is small, but the location makes up for that, and even our two teenagers didn't complain when they shared the quite small sofa bed in the living room! Sabrina surprised us after a few days, and let us have a second apartment for them- FOR FREE!!!! That's friendly service, and we will recommend this apartment and Sabrina to everyone!
