“Closed for Refurbishment”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

We walked all the way there only to be disappointed that it was dryer than the desert and closed up due to being refurbished. I thought it was extremely odd that they would close the fountain during the busiest time of year for tourists - why wouldn't they do this in January or something? if you are going there anytime soon, search to see if it is open as this would save you the walk over there.

“Very Busy”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

This was busy all day, so be prepared for the crowds. The fountain was beautiful at night when it was all lit up. Definitely worth a visit, and great for people watching

“My Favorite Fountain in Rome”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

Such a breath taking wonderful sight. The fountain is so pretty to see at any time of day and is a must see for movie lovers because it is so easily recognizable in so many great films. Tossing a coin in the fountain was one of the highlights of one of my days in Rome. Great place to take some amazing pictures and take in some history.

Loved seeing the Trevi Fountain. Overrun with tourists, but for a good reason. The actual architecture is absolutely stunning, the surrounding gelato is pretty dang delicious, and it's a great place to relax and listen to the water flow. It's a very clean area, nice for pictures, great meeting spot. Take the time to make a stop at the Trevi Fountain!

“Our Favorite Fountain”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

Our second visit to Rome and Fontana di Trevi is still our favorite. It is always busy, but there is a festive atmosphere here that makes the visit enjoyable. While there is so much construction underway at many locations, we were lucky enough that during our visit (first week of June '14), there was none. As with all of the older Roman sites, the detail here is remarkable. We could just sit here and listen to the sounds from the water and relax for hours. Don't miss this masterpiece!
