We took the subway to the Trevi Fountain. It was a few blocks from the subway exit, but easy to find and navigate. There area lot of tourist shops and restaurants in the area. The fountain was bigger than I had imagined! It is impressively huge. Thankfully my son was able to tell me the stories of the Roman god statues as there isn't much information about the site onsite. It was a simple stop at the Trevi Fountain on the way to the Spanish Stairs. Be sure to check out the little stores in the surrounding area, specifically the hand carved Pinocchio store.
